For our kitchen island table we needed a black unit with an 8-foot cord, both of which this has. We bought and installed it this month. We like that it has plenty of outlets, and the 2 USB charging ports are a nice bonus.

Gives me the extra access I need

Grounding is faulty, checked outlet with other items, was fine, home Depot, CK with other customers about ground not working, maybe mine got past inspection, or does it deserve recall product.

Have not had the opportunity to fully test it.

Product working properly

I chose this surge protector because the outlets are turned so that large plugs can easily fit. The price was also good.

Ordering online-pickup at store/locker was super simple; various selections to choose from and this surge protector/outlet had what i needed, only negative is that the 6 3-prong slots are spaced okay for some basic plugs but some are wide and won't fit side-by-side. This strip has one 3-prong spaced away and 1 usb + 1 usb-c slots...there's plenty of room on this strip for manufacturer to space out between the 3-prong slots.

I like the fact that the surge protector comes with a ground light and a protection light so that you know everything is OK. Also the company has a guarantee that if anything plugged into this is damaged they will cover it.
