I've got lots of beautiful plants in my house. And I thought this one would make a nice addition but WOW it died in 2 months. I mean completely died! I tried everything to save it but nothing worked. Paid almost $40 for it + shipping soooooo WOW!

This came in within an expected timeframe and was well packaged. It was beautiful and full and I was so happy with it! But it quickly died. I am not sure why. It did have something odd in the roots that i noticed, but i have no idea what they are so I do not know if it contributed to the plant's death.

This was my first time ordering a live plant online and I am so impressed with the packaging, the quality of the plant, and the value for the money. I also ordered more plants from Costa Farms after receiving the Areca and they’re amazing as well. Highly recommend it!

This is a large plant for low light, and it helps to accent or divide a space. It arrived in good shape ready to drop into a large empty pot I wanted to fill.

Came packaged well. Quick shipping . Some dead leaves on the side.

The box arrived a bit damaged but the plant is beautiful and bigger than I expected, which is great

The Areca Palms we beautifully packaged, delivered on time ( one day early actually) and are in the ground and looking healthy…..

My first plant arrived the day before Thanksgiving. Poor little thing was freezing cold (no warming pack) taped too tightly causing broken fronds and it was sopping wet. Not surprisingly he didn't fare well. So I took pictures of the damage as requested on the Costa farms sticker on the box and Voilá a perfect plant was sent to me about 36 hours later. Plant 2 is healthy, gorgeous was packaged well and I'm thrilled with it. This is a 5 star company to be so concerned about the customer's satisfaction. Very, very happy.

Plants are dying in spite of good care. Only a month and a week and they are dying. We found worms at roots, spider mites, brown spots and hollow stems. We want a Refund.

These were absolutely gorgeous when they arrived. I ordered three of them. Beautiful condition and very healthy. Nice size especially for decorating and filling in spots. I kept them indoors. I live in South Florida. I dont know what happened by they all died three months later. Any suggestions?

I must say, these plants were package quite prepared for a long hard Journey through the mail from the sender to me. In fortunately one of the palms just had it too rough. It is barely living. It dies more every day even with my intensive care. Buy the plants locally. If they don't have what you want have them order it. Good luck.

Packaged well, came right to my office. Looks great, improved the atmosphere, just what I needed.

Bought two, each with the same water and light. Atificial light 4 hours extra every day. I will treat with H2O2 and see.

Delray sent me most the absolutely most beautiful, healthiest possible plant one could have expected through the mail. It is very, very full! I was stunned. The listing said the height would be 32-44 inches tall. My local store was not carrying these so I took a gamble hoping to get one on the upper end. The one delivered to me was about 36" tall. BUT It's so full and healthy it's not funny. Also, shipping was prompt and UPS priority was also amazing with a great delivery. Well packaged too.

The plant came surprisingly well packed and looks great. I'm hoping it continues to grow and gives my apartment some much needed moisture. If I decide to get a second or third I have no question that this is how I'll buy them.

I bought 3 palms from home depot, it came with a very well packaging, healthy and big. I love them so much and would recommend to anyone who are looking for a healthy palm. You won't be regret with the purchase.

Be aware not to buy online. The plant that I have received is not the same as the image. The height of the plant supplied is 2 1/2 feet however the image on the web site shows a plant of 5 feet in height. The stem are tiny and only a few. The plant received is expensive if compared with the plant that I bought at the store before where the plant has a thick stalk and plentiful. I definitely will return the plant to the store. This purchase was a waste of time.

The palm which was nearly frozen on delivery. The stalks were yellowish-brown with black spots. After 3-4 days, the palm died. The leaves crisped up. I've never had any issues transplanting plants. I didn't over water this palm either - as they don't like a lot of water... and it had adequate sunlight. I am very certain the delivery caused the death of this palm, and since it happened after 3 days of arrival, I can't return it. Great timing I guess... never again will I buy a plant to be shipped.

I ordered this plant on Tuesday evening and was happily surprised to see it delivered early on Friday! A word of caution: open the plant package outside as there will be slight soil spillage during unpacking. I received a healthy looking Palm of about 3 1/2 feet in length. [I also ordered a ZZ plant and Fiddle Leaf Fig bush from Home Depot---all of which arrived in top notch condition].

Home depot can't even blame UPS on this. The plant has plenty of dried out tips. There are spot all over the place. I'm not sure what type of mold or disease infestation this is. Of all the plants I ordered, I looked forward to this one the most, and this is extremely disappointing.

When ordering this plant, I had no idea exactly how tall it would be. It is about 4' tall, and I have taken a picture of it next to a full-length bookshelf to compare (the pot in the picture is my own -- it comes in a regular 10" plastic liner pot). It was well packaged and very healthy upon arrival. This was an extremely good deal for the size of the plant!

This plant is absolutely awesome. It came in great condition from UPS and arrived in a timely manner. I had an incorrect address issue which was brought to my attention by a persistent and hard-working corporate solutions woman from Home Depot. The address problem was immediately resolved and the plant arrived healthy and bright-looking (I was worried about the length of time it might be boxed without water while waiting for that correct address). It's a good 4 feet tall, including the pot that it's in. I opened the package from its side (while the box was standing upright), and as a heads up you might want to have a newspaper or something to put it down on because there may be a small amount of loose dirt from the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot (if you're having it shipped like I did). The plant looks even better than pictured here. I highly recommend this product from Home Depot, the price was right (about 20 bucks), and the quality top notch. I ordered it from the website. I wasn't completely sure what size the plant would be, thinking it could be 10 inches tall, but in fact that 10 inches refers to the diameter of the pot, I believe. Awesome size plant for the money. I'll be buying another as a gift soon. It's hard to find tropical plants here in Connecticut, so I was more than happy to see such a reasonable price for a plant outside this growing zone. I had read some bad reviews about buying from other dubious palm tree websites and, additionally, I couldn't find these particular palm trees at Lowe's. I also searched my local nursery and couldn't find them either. Home Depot came through, and I truly hope they will continue to expand their tropical palm tree line. This plant is amazing. On a side note, I also bought a Cateracterum ("Cat") Palm from Home Depot with the same order, and it, too, was full and gorgeous. I will review that one in a moment as well.

Somehow forgot that I purchased this and at the same time purchased one from a competitor at the same time. The other was the same price range, less than a dollar or two difference yet next to this looked like a sapling. This plant was lush and green and so full, I have never purchased such a beautiful plant and the other, a stick with leaves, not worthy of a Charlie Brown Christmas. Next summer these will fill my poolside!

I was so excited to buy another Areca palm. The excitement has ebbed. It’s barely hanging on. I can’t say that I will ever buy another palm from them
