Best ice cream freezer I've used. My old Cuisinart lasted 18 years, used weekly. I hope this one lasts as long. The features are superior to my old model. Ice cream is smooth and well mixed.

I simply love this machine! I love the convenience of having ice cream whenever we want and it takes UNDER an hour. I turn on the machine for about 10 minutes before adding my recipe and it only takes 40 minutes to complete. AND Easy to clean. A no hassle way for us to enjoy one of our favorite treats! A dream come true for sure!

I had the best quality ice cream ever, as I knew exactly what wholesome ingredients it contained. The preparation was quick and simple. The making of ice cream was also quick and simple. Add ingredients and with the press of a few buttons, viola delicious ice cream!! Love this machine! So easy to clean as well.

So far we love it! You do have to be very careful not to overfill or you will have a mess. I've learned to make a double batch of my gelato or ice cream and then freeze it in 3 batches. It doesn't make much at a time but is pretty fast at freezing. When it's my ice cream making day it doesn't matter to me. I do mix my ingredients the day before and refrigerate. It is a little noisy but we run it in our walk in pantry and close the door.

Love it! I can get the flavors I can't find at store, and it is so much better!

Works perfectly. Easy to program. It is hard to clean if it spills over, but lesson learned for me-less liquid than the instructions advise.

This is the ice cream make I've waited my whole life for. For years I kept looking at it and dreaming I'd have one someday. Thank you to an unexpected Christmas bonus and this little baby is on my counter. So pretty and easy to use. It's just the perfect ice cream maker.

I bought this and made vanilla bean ice cream for a family get together. This made such good ice cream, everyone loved it! It has a compressor so you don’t have to freeze a bowl, and you can make several batches back to back. You can eat it immediately when it’s done and it will be similar to a soft serve or you can freeze it for a couple of hours and it comes out firm similar to regular store bought ice cream. You do have to prep before hand and let the ingredients refrigerate for a couple of hours before putting it in the maker. I just prepped it the night before and let it refrigerate over night. Then in the morning I put it in the maker and let it go! We love it and it’s easy to use.

My son loves ice cream and could eat it everyday. I got this one so we wouldn’t have to freeze the container before using. This way we can make multiple flavors rather quickly. Makes an awesome soft serve style when finished and my son likes his firmer so he freezes his longer before eating. I only hope we don’t burn it up making so much ice cream. This is not a promotional review as I did purchase this on my own.

Creates creamy delicious ice cream with great consistency in 25-60 minutes. Love the built in compressor that doesn’t require freezing the bowl beforehand. Looks nice on countertop. Great recipes included. Easy to use and clean.

Really easy to operate. Love the pull out “bucket”. Have only made gelato and sorbet, so far.

I love this machine I don’t really make real ice cream in it but I make a protein frozen treat, yogurt and non sugar frozen treats. It’s amazing.

So far the Ice cream was very tasty. The recipe called for whole milk and heavy cream , but the next time I make it again I'll just use the whole milk instead of adding the cream , it was a wee bit too rich , other than that it was really good. Definitely would buy the Cuisinart ICE 100 again.

I love it and the machine works wonderfully but have 1 major annoyance to the overall design of the machine. As the ice cream gets near completion the ice cream comes out the flip lid that you are to use when adding additional condiments near the end. The ice cream gets pushed up and comes out the flap and runs down the front edge of the unit. If the unit was designed to be a little taller or if the flap lip snapped shut with a seal this would prevent it from overflowing. My work around has been to put packing tape across the door to seal it while it is churning. If I need to add any condiments I peal the tape off and reapply it after all my additions have been added for the final 5-10 minutes of churning. This has kept it from running all over. It's the best ice cream and love that I can make batch after batch if desired.

After the first ten or so uses the gears on the machine and the bottom of the hopper started popping and not grabbing.

I love the ease of use and the ice cream is delicious! I haven’t made anything else as I’m stuck on loving the ice cream too much. Easy to operate, a bit on the heavy side but worth the reward. I recommend.

I'm learning to make gelato. I think it would help if the machine had a slower setting for gelato, in addition to the special gelato paddle.

Machine works OK, BUT the recipes have issues. If you follow them and don't know to NOT fill above the instructed paddle area the ice cream overflows -- a lot The recipes advise mixing the ingredients and then chilling for 2 hours or overnight. Thought this unit was mix, pour and press button, no pre chilling

I read about this machine in a blog by a fairly famous ice cream maker/pastry chef. I hemmed and hawed for a while, having had less than stellar experiences with the hassle of homemade ice cream in the past. I finally pulled the trigger and I must say I am delighted. I can hear it working away right now in my laundry room, making my 4th batch of ice cream. The ease of use is mind-blowing. I have not felt the need to advance beyond the basic vanilla recipe in the product instruction manual (despite purchasing a book of ice cream and sorbet recipes, which is still unopened). The only quibble I have is that it is messy and fussy to remove the ice cream when it is ready (cue violins). I am very happy with this product, Cuisinart!

Easy as “pie”! Just to make ice cream to put on pie! Wanting to try low carb ice cream next! Many recipes on the internet to try!

Very easy to use. This machine does not require freezing ingredients in advance of making ice cream. Noise level is very reasonable. Ice cream is ready about 40 min. after turning on machine. Easy and yummy! Ice cream freezes to a harder, icier texture.

MAKES VERY GOOD ICE CREAM. ITS VERY EASY TO USE. WOULD RECOMMEND.

I love this machine! I have done now 4 patches of Ice cream of differnt flavors and they have been perfect. I highly recommend for fun home use.

Works as adverticed.We started out with strawberry which is one of the simpleest least detailed recepes. Pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the machine and the product. As good a ice cream as I have had. Highly recommend this machine!
