Item was excellent. Use tube of plumbers grease on it while installing. Grease is $2. Im giving 4 stars because i feel the price is way too high for the cartridge at $35. Problem of low hot flow and stiff handle was definitely the cartridge. Easy to replace following you tube video. Smooth as silk now thank you. Lasted 12 years (original). But original was likely never greased. Maybe removing and greasing the cartridge every 5 yrs will make it last indefinitely?? Dont spray wd 40 into a seizing cartridge- made it way worse almost immovable. Very pleased with ship to store free service from home depot. Arrived when expected. Only issue was high price.

I initially got wrong size and returned to store. I ordered this one and it fit perfectly. Very difficult to get handle off. Definitely use plumbers grease on all parts when you put them back together including the cartridge.

So far its holding up. It took me a while to find it basically by inside seal design and look. I also replaced the outer piece and handle but the new two piece cylindrical pieces were too long so i reused the old ones. Looks good. No leaks so far. Youll know its leaking if it starts to drip, again!
