Worked great
This was recommended by a friend to fill nail holes in my new baseboard. It worked great for that. I have always used DAP products in the past and have always had great results. This time I used it on a new buffet cabinet I was building. Used to it fill nail holes from attaching the face frame and to fill a small gap from trimming out the top. I used it on solid hard maple. Dried super quick, sanded down no problem. I primed and painted the entire cabinet and it turned out great.

I love this product!
I see others complain that it is hard to squeeze the product out of the tube.
If you have any strength at all, it will not be a problem.
If I needed more, I would agree that getting it in the plastic jar would be a good idea but a little went a long way.
I have a wooden mail box post that is older and a bit cracked and weathered.
I like the consistency of this product, not at all sloppy to apply.
Kind of like modeling clay.
Goes on pink and dries to white when it's ready to sand or paint!
Too cool!
Finished off the mailbox with some paint from HD and it looks great.
Used a little more to fill the holes left when I had to remove two plastic wall anchors from my
concrete block garage walls. Won't even need to paint since it dries white.

Years later, still worked
I had a 32 ounce tub of this for (probably) a full decade. It only recently dried up with about 8 oz left) when someone (not blaming anybody who didn't pay attention) closed it with some spillage on the rim of the lid, not allowing it to fully close.
Until that happened, I'd use this three or four times a year. Only once did I feel like I needed to mist it with water and that was on a dry day and I had it open for a long time.

Crimp end was not sealed, made huge mess on carpet.
I was filling numerous holes in the wall when I discovered the crimp end split open and oozed lots of compound all over my carpeting. Huge mess, I recommend something else.

Product goes on smooth and dries quickly. It’s very easy to sand as compared to drywall compound. It does shrink a little bit so you may have to use two coats, depending on the size of the nail hole.

Sticks out after painting
I used this heavy weight spackle on a few wall holes and gouges. Used a semi gloss behr ultra paint over it after sanding of course. Each patch shows up with a flat sheen against the semi gloss. I should have painted a few coats over the patches first, let dry, then a final topcoat. I was hoping I wouldn't have had to prime first as the behr ultra is self priming.

This issue as described, is almost always able to be corrected with the application of a second coat of paint. I'm glad I ordered the 16 oz size. I had 2 large 6X6 holes to repair. This amount was enough. I liked that it went on pink and turned white when it was ready to sand smooth.

It was the wrong product for my project. A taping compound (which Plus 3 is) was what I was lookin for. The Depot rep. did not have any real depth of knowledge about Plus 3 or the similar products at the Depot.
