This product gives a great seal on even extremely wide gaps. I used it on a crooked shed with 1-2 inch gaps and it sealed the wood perfectly. I will definitely purchase this product in the future.

Despite the tube being marked clear, it was clearly white when I started to use it.

Thank you for posting your feedback on DAP Dynaflex 230 Premium Window Door Trim & Siding Sealant. As indicated on the product package label and supporting product literature under label section FOR BEST RESULTS: "Sealant applies white and dries clear in 7-14 days (depending on joint depth, temperature and humidity)." All of DAP's acrylic-latex (water based) sealants will function this way and are labeled accordingly.
