I always use dap it's number one usually but today I bought a clear call to finish up around a sink and it came out white I'm not saying I'll never use this brand again but I just wanted to inform the company

I used this to secure the 16- 6"x6" black tiles on my fire pit table. In the past, the wind blowing across the table would lift the tiles out of their holes. Some would fall on to the cement patio and break. That did not happen after this past wind storm. All are now secure! The black color was a good match for the black tiles and filling in the broken tile corners.

The smoothest flowing caulk I've ever used. Absolutely no clumping, gaps, or strings. I'll be seeking out this product for my future caulking needs.

Works much better than I thought it would. I had to apply two-by-fours to a block wall to build a small roof structure over a walk way between the house in the wall.. The block wall was put up in the 1950's. I did not bring the correct hammer drill to the job site so I just used a regular drill and could not drill through it. Today's block you can do that but 1950s blocks.. apparently not. Anyway I applied it to the two-by-fours and clamped it to the block wall 48 hours later I check to see how secure it was by literally hanging on it. At 195 lb, it didn't budge. Pretty good stuff.

This is great caulk. I use it around my windows to create an airtight seal where they connect to the structure. Since my windows are also white, I don’t need to paint it. However, it has the ability to be painted if you choose to. It dries usually within an hour and is mold resistant. It is a latex product, which means soap and water clean up. I recommend this product for exterior use.

Beware: there is going to be a lot of waste using this product. I was using a professional grade caulking gun with a quick release. I made a roofing sized nail hole in the tip and stopped squeezing the gun well before i was moving onto the next section and still...... it would not stop coming out. The mess on my hands from using a finger tip on the tube tip was awful. I normally go through one tube of GE silicone for a large area with little waste and its easy to apply and handle. DAP I gave you a shot, you cost .75 cents more for the similar GE product but it was a messy disaster.... even after I fully disengaged the gun..... so much wasted product pouring out.

This is not your father's caulk. It has more features than a Swiss Army knife. Mold resistance, Paint Ready Time, Water Ready Time, Skin Time, Toolability, Crack Resistance, Temp range. ... every feature with impressive stats. To start with, it's really easy to apply. So much so, I was able to apply the caulk and tool it with one hand while the other hand took a video (crudely) of the process. It's so smooth and free flowing, I could easily hold the gun, apply a decent sized bead and do so around two sump pump outlets. It was a mad dash to do so, as well, since we were forecasted to get another deluge within 2 hours. The 1 hour Water Ready Time was thoroughly tested and reviewing the results a week later, no visible deterioration was observed. Even more important, no water infiltration either. It remains somewhat flexible which is really good in this sump pump sealing application as the constant on-off cycling cracks lesser caulks quickly. We applied this to north wall where algae grows every year. This product has a lifetime mold and mildew guarantee, so it will definitely be put to the test. We haven't had it up long enough to observe its algae resistance yet, though. We've used it in temps in the 40's and it worked just as easily as when we used it in the mid 50's and up. It is very easy to tool and cleanup is super fast and easy with just water. It's not your cheapest caulk, nor is it the most expensive, but like paint, if you want good results, it's worth spending for it. We're super pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

I've got some serious window resealing to do this spring, so I was pleased when HD offered this premium product...nice to know going in it'll be right the first time. This is better stuff than I would normally choose (cheapskate). 100% waterproof seal...once cured, resists mold, mildew and algae guaranteed for the life of the sealant. Stays permanently flexible, rain and paint ready in one hour. Water clean up, exterior & interior...nice stuff, looking forward to using it...and then, NOT using it for many years to come...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's winter here in Vermont so I haven't had a lot of chances to use the sealant but had to redo around the base of a shower stall and used it for that. I loaded it in the cartridge and found it was easy to dispense and to smooth out once on. As stated, it was fully dry within 3 days but held up with use before that. I've attached a picture. I look forward to using more of it for exterior use once the weather is decent. I'll give painting over it a try too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While time is the true test for quality on this product, I have thus far been impressed by this caulk. With cement board siding, I have had several opportunities for use, resealing joints and places where the original caulk had failed and cracked. I removed old caulk and cleaned up the sites to allow for better adhesion, then applied this product. This caulk was easy to apply and create a clean bead. Thus far this winter, we have had temperatures down to -20F and I have seen no cracking. Great product!

Used this for a new exterior door install (Ultra only all the way around) and I was fortunate enough to not experience any rain for 21 days after installing the door only to be accosted by water when it did rain. The water that leaked directly under the threshold was white like milk and after it dried it was OBVIOUSLY uncured caulk. I get it not being water ready in a few hours but 21 days is UNACCEPTABLE!!! The saddest part is I've used all 5 tubes so return not possible. Stay away!!! JUNK!!!!!

Not easily stained or painted.

You have to apply this in such perfect weather conditions that I don't think they exist. And then, if you leave a bad review, they want samples they want a weather report They want to know what Monday was closer to the day you replied it. I mean, read some of these reviews and read some of the responses. What a joke

The dap worked great - comes out white and dries clear and can be s painted.

It doesn't sing real well for a Seal-ant, but it will leave the job looking like it had been kissed by a rose. Easy use and gets the job done without issue.

I have handled quite a bit of Caulk in my time, and this one did not disappoint. Smooth application, and fit right in the groove. It left a perfect bead line too.
