If you hate mixing oil and gasoline, if you are tired of trimmers that are difficult to start and if you are tired of trimmer repair costs throw away your old gas trimmer and buy this battery operated trimmer. Assembly takes about five minutes. Charge the battery, assemble the few parts and you are ready to trim. I tried it out yesterday in our front yard. It trimmed extremely well for a battery trimmer. You can operate it at a low or height speed. If you have a lot to trim use the lower speed and the battery will last longer. We have a large yard and I did the whole front and the battery still had plenty of power left. It uses .080 line which is thinner than most gas trimmers but will get the job done. Only negative is the handle could be slightly longer for me. If you have .25 of an acre or less this will do the job! We have just under .25 acre and it has plenty of power to trim the whole yard! I am very impressed and I am not impressed easily!

The Dewalt String Trimmer is a very easy to use, versatile grass trimmer. It comes with a 20V battery and charger. A light bump on the ground while running at normal speed feeds new line out from the trimmer. It has two speeds and is easy to maneuver around obstacles. It is fast and does a nice job trimming the lawn. I would recommend this grass trimmer.

I am always about brand loyalty. I bought a Dewalt string trimmer, therefore I want Dewalt string, what it comes with from the factory. This stuff last forever, I'm not certain I'll live long enough to use the whole role.

Worked great for weeds and small brush.

I had trouble with other lines breaking at the spool and having to open the spool up to re-string it. I purchase this DEWALT line and it's much better. It cuts a lot better too than other lines I've used. Very happy with it.
