Received one and it was defective. Returned it and ordered another. Same issue. Called Dewalt support and was told it sounded like a "bad batch" and was told to return it. Ordered a different brand. Very disappointing.

Finally a glue gun with a stable kick stand that let's it rest easy. Like a cat it always lands on its feet! Low and high settings. I like working with low because it allows the glue to dry more quickly. High is good for those larger seams where you just need a little more time. Great product. Heats really fast.

Purchased this as I was tired of constantly purchasing glue guns, just for them to only work a couple times. So far have used this about a dozen times and works great each time. Heats up quickly.

I had an old dewalt hot glue gun(that still works), but i wanted the lights when its hot enough to glue. But this thing is massive compared to the old one. So much bigger that i dont use this one ever. Probably gonna return it. It’s just that big…. Idk

Great when it heats up but then it stops hearing and then I have to wait a while for it to get hot again. Wastes a lot of time.

For the cost, this can't be beat, works very well. I especially like that the flow of the glue is consistent with every trigger pull. In the instructions it mentioned that it increases the heat for that purpose. I have used Glue Guns that as you use it, the glue flow changes as the gun can't heat the glue fast enough. If memory serves I believe this gun heats up in 60 secs? Another feature I really like is the stand. Very stable, as I have used other guns that tend to fall over when not in use. The Dewalt also doesn't have a lot of drip coming out of the nozzle when it is not being used, I would suggest keeping something underneath to protect the surface you placed it on, if you care about it. Only negative thing, is that the two short glue sticks that come with it, won't last long. As a matter of fact, you will need to use them both in order to feed the glue through the gun. You should pick up extra glue, unless you only have a very small project.

So far this glue gun works perfect. It’s doing what I need it to do . And it doesn’t make a mess. So in my opinion I RATE it pretty high. Five stars

I really like the design, but I do have issues with feeding the glue sticks more than my other glue guns for some reason.

the heating system is good, but the amount of rubber that comes out is little, the use of the rubber gun is not pleasant.
