just awesome
I had a mini glue gun and was going through glue like crazy. so I decided I needed a bigger one. doing my research for a few weeks, this ultimately came out to be my best decision. I am very pleased. not only does it heat up pretty quick, the hold on the glue is strong. so make sure you put the item where I want it the first time haha. this has made my crafting so much easier and a lot less time consuming. the glue outlet adjuster is awesome. I can't get over the stand it is just gravy, and the value is just where it needs to be. definitely worth the money. I don't see myself needing another glue gun for a VERY long time.

This is fantastic for moments when sewing or stapling is not an option

I often make smaller upholstery pieces for vehicles and I recently ran into a problem when I was making a shift boot for a corvette (on the old one, the leather had been stapled through a plastic snap-in bezel that installs into the center console). It was probably somewhat brittle so I did not want to staple through the plastic again. This is where my Arrow glue gun came in handy! I fired it up and effortlessly glued the bottom edges of the shift boot to the plastic snap-in bezel in no time. I love this glue gun and I will be using it whenever I can!

This product is good when you need extra holdind power, such as mending running shoes ect..

If used correctly it will work great on lots of products especially when you need a quick and strong fix such as getting ready to go out just to find your favorite pair of shoes are comming apart and need a quick mending. Great for many uses around the shop, heats fast, and holds well. Making crafts for fun party's.

Great glue tool to have around the house
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I initially purchased this glue gun, instead of another model, because I wanted one that was heavy duty enough to do more than DIY craft projects. I also wanted one with an on/off switch. I purchased it to glue rope onto the bottom side of a table to cover the base but I've found so many more uses for it in just the few days that I've had it. I've: Glued fabric on upholstery and wall hangings, glued command hooks to the fireplace brick that refused to stick with the included adhesive strip, glued metal repair plates on a chair to hold them in place before screwing them in, you get the idea. This tool so much more useful than I expected. The glue does dry fast so now I understand why Arrow also offers glue sticks that have a 3 minute set time to allow for more adjusting.
