So about 2mo or so into this unit and may 50 or 60 cuts later, the little cheap black plastic clip that controls the blade insert and lock broke Unbelievable how a design team could approve such a garbage shortcut and inferior part. Nice job Dewalt NO EXCUSE

Bought this saw to start making lawn decorations for my wife. Made easy work of this piece. More projects to come.

USED TH PRODUCT TO MAKE CURVED CUTS IN TREATED 2X6'S FOR A PERGOLA. THE SAW HANDLED IT WITH NO PROBLEMS. BOUGHT THE BOSCH SAWBLADES WITH IT.

Apparently it had a internal short, stopped working after very little use. Seemed like a well-made product,heavy duty nice feel. I might have gotten a lemon I have used Dewalt products in the past with good results .

This product worked well. Cuts curves well. Perhaps a bit heavy but hopefully he heft will contribute to it's long productive future.

This jigsaw work great for our project. It does need to come with basic blades. And the Depot or Dewalt need to have blade kits. I had to buy one from another manufacturer.

My 35 year old Black & Decker jig saw gave out and had to buy new. (I don't use them very often) I've been buying DeWalt tools for several years now and I couldn't be happier with the brand. So I went with this DeWalt unit. I've used it about a dozen times now. Unit is very smooth operating and well balanced. The automatic dust blowing feature works well when unit is running on High. If you are running the unit at slower speed, you will have to keep the saw dust cleaned off of your cut line the old fashioned way. FYI- the unit comes with no blades and the blade type is: T-Shank. I bought a case of assorted Bosch T-Shank blades. One Disappointment: All of my other DeWalt tools came with a hard case. This comes with a cloth case. I would have preferred a hard case. This cloth case seems durable but I think that over time the Plastic zipper will be the weak link, so we'll see.

This Jig Saw is awesome, very powerful yet easy to move in spherical patterns in wood; fits nicely in palm and since is relatively heavy it requires only a little push to make a cut.

I needed a jig saw so I went to the local store, shopped around and then came home and read reviews online. After seeing this saw had good reviews I bought one. I also purchased Bosch blades. I've been using jig saws for many years and this saw is by far the best I've ever used. The Bosch blades with this saw cut through 1/2" plywood like a hot knife cuts through butter - very smooth and precise operation. I also love the keyless blade holder - very nice feature (they didn't have that available twenty five years ago when I purchased my previous jig saw). The saw has a "good feel" to it, it's comfortable to use, heavy but not too heavy, very easy and very intuitive to operate and it's truly been a joy to use. So far I've used it to cut plywood, MDF and 0.626 thick aluminum and I have zero complaints. I only wish I'd bought one of these earlier - highly recommended. Don't forget to buy blades - it doesn't come with any - but don't get cheap blades.

I have used the jog saw for many projects and cutting many different kinds of materials. I have never had any issues. It is powerful and easy to handle.

Great jig saw replaced craftsman which broke after about 30 years. I felt the value was there when purchased from Home Depot. Great quality and great store with quality goods!

Definitely an excellent jigsaw! The power is linear with the trigger. Feels solid in my hand using it. Big improvement from my old skill saw.

Solid jigsaw. Easy to change blades. I prefer the corded model.

Slight play so a finish cut is difficult to make but plenty of power to get it close to the line and then sand for finish!

Haven’t used it yet but wasn’t a bad price
