[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this trimmer and am extremely happy with my decision to buy this over another gas trimmer. I was skeptical to make the leap from gas but my doubts were very quickly put to rest after a couple times using it. My only complaint and stopping me from giving it 5 stars is the trimmer head itself. The first one lasted about 6 uses before it started to go bad and not hold the line in anymore and by the 8th use it totally broke. So I bought another head in hopes that maybe just that one had issues but the new one I bought has started going bad after about 3 times using it. I have seen other reviews that show this is a common issue so please Dewalt address this issue because I can’t buy 2 new trimmer heads a year. I’m willing to pay more for the quality that the Dewalt name holds so I expect more and the quality to be throughout every part of the tool.

Great trimmer for the price!

This little guy is it. This trimmer has as much power as a gas trimmer and with the brush attachment destroys blackberry bushes. Ill never go back to gas again. The 9amh battery is perfect for my half acre. Good to have a spare battery though and the attachments are perfect

Only used it once but has power like a gas trimmer. Was able to fit my existing edger and blower attachments

Easy to assemble and use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 8 months ago and love it! Not only does the trimmer have plenty of power but the battery lasts forever! I also use the 60V battery for my 20V tools and I can't say enough good things about it! Highly recommend!

I don't usually write reviews, but this product is 100% worth it. Have used gas-run trimmers forever and switched to this last year. It's so easy to grab it and use it immediately without having to worry about a motor. I'm able to trim our entire couple acre property and pond on a charge with plenty battery left. The included Dewalt string lasted over a year and doesn't break easily. Love this product!
