Great power and battery life

Great power, clean cuts.

My old skillsaw finally wore out after >25 years. Wasn’t sure a cordless would have the power I am used to…but pleasantly surprised by the power and clean cut (of course a sharp blade helps). Flexibility of cordless allowed me to cut decking in the field without cord. Used the battery on my Dewalt trimmer (instead of smaller battery pack) and was able to trim 1/3 acre with plenty of battery power to spare. The blade alignment does take some getting used to, it is aligned on left side.

Awesome saw. This is my regular go to “worm drive”. I have three corded 7 1/4” worm drive skillsaws that I still use from time to time, but this DeWalt is the first out of my tool box.

Excellent saw. #1. 10/10

Did lots of research on many circular saws, and for the money dewalt is asking for this saw a rear handle and a garbage bag to store it in not going to get it.

Amazing tool!! So nice to work up in the rafters with no cord :)

While this saw is a little heavy it is a beautiful, well designed tool which I no longer have to worry about using an extension cord.

Brought home and discovered no blade comes with the saw! Really, at this price point! Have to return to the store for a blade! Every other Dewalt saw I have purchased (4) has come with a blade. I have plenty of blades 250 miles away but not here! Do not trust the picture or past purchasing experience. I wrote this in the hope it will save someone else an unnecessary trip back to the store.

Great saw purchase, I would say if you buy it get a second battery. Eliminate the down time. I get most of a day from one battery though.

WHERE'S THE RIP GUIDE? Seriously though, everything else about the saw is fantastic.

This saw performed good. This style of saw makes cutting easier. The 9Ah battery had good staying power. But I recommend a 2nd battery for continued usage. Charging the 9Ah battery took between 2 and 3 hours.

This dewalt tool is amazing! While it is on the heavy side it doesn’t quit! It blows through anything you ask of it with ease. Very happy with my decision to buy it.

Hands down the best contractor saw you will ever use. Infinitely more powerful than an old corded worn drive saw. Hoping Dewalt comes out with a cordless beam saw for timber framing someday.

I always used dewalt all there tools are top in the industry but with that being said a Good saw should have cases for them especially for the money you guys are charging
