This light is great when it decides to work. We have had ours for less than a year. I notice when it’s colder outside the light chooses not to work even there is sun on the solar panel all day. It works about every third night when it’s warm. However. Now the entire sensor lighting up red when it detects motion like it’s just completely given up. Would not recommend.

I do not recommend this product! I have three solar powered sensor lights this one being the most expensive of the three. It hardly ever works because it requires days of sun to have enough charge to work at night. The other two will turn on every night but this one only works about one night a week if I’m lucky. It’s located in full sun so I don’t know why it’s not charging. It’s bright when it does work but it does me no good most nights.

worked for 2 months before needing to return due to lights not working. Tried to return the lights to the store and was told pppall the systems was shut down in the store therefore no return was afforded because the worker stated there wasn’t any money in the store. I’m not going to post the gentleman name from the store on 22nd Ave. No. in St Petersburg. I was told computers in the store was all shut down with 20 minutes remaining before closing. Then proceeded to tell me to come back tomorrow.

I purchaed a similar light from Costco that lasted almost 4 years. Purchased this Defiant 180 degree integrated led motion solar sensor light through Home Depot and its been nothing but defiant in not working at all. I should’ve returned it but i waited to long clicking my heels and crossing my fingers hoping it would work. I wish there was a negative star rating.

Works better than I expected!!

I like the light output but when there’s no sun for even one day, the light does not work it seems to be it doesn’t store battery very well because of the charge and it should last at least two or three days without sunlight,

despite all efforts, the battery would not charge even though the solar panel output voltage registered 7+ volts.

I have purchased 3 of the units. The first one never charged. The second one charged and lit once on two separate evenings apparently each event drained the battery. Also, that unit was dirty and greasy... It obviously was a returned unit. The third light was in the process of being installed and discovered that the plate, required to attach the lighting unit and motion detector was missing. ALSO, this one had mud under the light mounting bracket .... again a returned device with poor inspection

Bought 2 of these, both worked great for <1yr, now they both do not turn on. Not sure if they need a part replaced, new light bulbs, ect..

I bought one about 2 weeks ago spent $25 to have somebody put it up and the thing never worked took it back and got another one paid another $25 to have it put up and it is not working either I am returning it shortly it is nothing but a piece of junk very unsatisfied

Lights shine nice and bright but only for the first night would not work after then replace them two times and they did not work also not sure if it's the panels of the battery but didn't get much service out of them

Actually, they were costly and they don’t work well! I think if I go and buy them in Ali express better quality and price as well!

So pretty much sucks probably one of the worst flights that I’ve ever purchased plugged in works for maybe two nights but not even for the full nights and it better be nice the next day or it won’t charge unless it’s all sun if it’s forecast don’t expected to charge, so I ripped it down, threw it away and bought a better one

I bought my first one, and did as instructed....I turned the switch to off, and waited a week for it to charge before turning the switch on. Nothing. Even the Test mode does nothing. In test, I once saw a small red LED light up for a second in the motion sensor, but that was it. So I bought a second one, thinking that maybe the solar panel was bad, and I would swap out solar panels and then return the non-working unit, but the second one isn't doing anything either. I was thinking that this time of year it may not be getting enough direct sunlight, so I set it up in my garage and had the solar panel directly (6 inches away) from my bright garage light. I left the garage light on for a solid week, and when i tested it, still nothing. Luckily its only been a few weeks, and I still have the original boxes and receipts. I am going to return both of these. They are complete junk.

Don’t waste money on defiant light products this was second one we bought and it stopped working in 2 days called company no one called me back terrible products first one we bought stopped working in 2 weeks company said faulty wiring not sure what is wrong with this second product but it was double the money and again only worked 2 days !!!! Don’t waste your money

Warranted only through Defiant after 90 days! Replacement for previous same item that stopped working right after 14 months of a "3 year warranty". Warranty call to Defiant gave a lady that said only a 1 year warranty, even though box and owner's manual both show 3 year. After requested photos of box and manual sent, she is still "looking into it" after about 1 week. Worked fine until it started blinking on and was therefore useless.

I bought one of these and left it with the solar panel facing the sun for 5 days. Wouldnt charge enough to turn on the lights so I exchanged it and left the second one facing the sun for a week. Same failure. Basically it's just a defective $100 paperweight. Save your money and get a different brand. I'm in Ohio so maybe solar is stupid to even talk about or try here because of the weather but if that's the case why sell the junk here?

Terrible product. Never worked. Followed the instructions and left it in full sunlight for 10 days before turning on, and it NEVER charged. Very disappointed. Will be returning it.

It’s been charging for a week and a half and still doesn’t work

Worst solar spotlight, I have ever found I bought my first one. It lasted for six months worked great replaced it with the same exact one charged it would not work. I took it back and exchange for the same exact one for more times because none of them would work at all brand new. I am going to just run a hardwire and buy a wired spotlight. I am disgusted with this product, and I have to return it And I don’t have the box

Light will not consistently work. Will come on sometimes but not others.
