The timer was easy to set for my window candles. The candles come on in the evening as set. Very reliable product.

I'm using this with my LED grow lights for 18hr on and 6hr off. Works perfectly.

I have a light in the house that I wanted to turn on during the hours that I am not there so I got this timer so it could do that. And it does work well, I've had this timer for over a month and it does the job. I only had to plug in, set the time on the on and off and set the time on it. It only takes 2 prong outlet just so you know and the light that I put on was nowhere the 15 amp max it holds but it is nice to know that you can go up that high. it is meant for indoor just as stated so I did keep it inside. so far it works as it should. Oh and you can turn it on manually if needed to

I have used timers over the past several years for various reasons...Christmas decor, turning on lamps daily, outdoor decor, indoor decor, etc. I have bought several brands and by far believe the Defiant has been the easiest to use & most dependable, $4 for the single plug (I use this 90% of the time more often, $10 for the double plug.) Is it 100% perfect? Nope, nothing is! Of the approx dozen throughout my house that I use DAILY & then add seasonal timers, Defiant is my #1 go to timer. I have had to return 1 Defiant timer over the past few years that was a lemon & Home Depot didn't question me at all, just swapped it out. Even if HD hadn't swapped out the defective timer, it STILL would not have kept me from continuing to investing in the Defiant timer. If I give a decorative gift that requires electrical power, I always tie on a Defiant timer!!

Great product. Cheap. I am using it in outdoor covered porch for Christmas lights. Area is dry location. Will buy more of these. Easy to use and operate.

Works perfect and is very simple to configure.

Very easy to program. I love this thing. Set it and forget it. Great for turning noisy radios and lights on when traveling. I love that it also has an override switch to keep the light (or device) powered on when you want to use the light (or device) during non-programmed times.

Most inexpensive timer in the store. Easy to operate and most importantly it is quiet. You can't hear any ticking and when the light turns there is no offensive click. This is the second one I have purchased in the past month. Throwing my noisy ones away. Highly recommend this one.

Simple, no frills timer that is pretty old school compared to most units that you'll find out there. But it was inexpensive and keeps time like more expensive ones. Who could complain at $3.97?

This is a good timer with really bad instruction on how to use it. • On the top is a switch “Timer ON” (this position when using the timer) • “Outlet ON” when you want to by-pass the timer. The push/pull pins need to be out when you want the timer to be off and pushed in during the time when you want the timer to be controlling (light or whatever) Setting the time – turn dial clockwise ONLY until it. White times are daylight and black times are dark. The dark triangle on the face should be pointed toward the correct time in the daylight or dark position. It is a good timer if you can figure out how it works. I've use them for years and I would recommend it. I did not feel that way until I figured out it works -- then I went "well duh!"

This timer came with the “segments” down, but the instructions say to push the ones DOWN for the time period you want the timer to be on. The should say to pull them UP. Frustrating!!!
