Poor Design & cheap flimsy glass
Our 9 year old daughter went to close one of the doors and it slightly snagged causing the door to collapse and shatter. When I went to remove the remaining door I was about to place it down and held the rack bar on the door when it completely collapsed and shattered. This design may look nice however it is horribly made and the glass doors are unsafe.

This style of doors imploded
The design of this sliding assembly is horrendous. The slightest pull on the handle bar and you can feel the glass bowing in the middle. Our 9 year old daughter went to close these doors and they imploded while she was in the shower. When I went to remove the remaining door while placing it down I grabbed the handle and it instantly imploded as well.

Top rollers dont last. Rubber seals tearing
First thing, this kit requires the drilling of TOO MANY holes upon installation. Kinda made me sick, and was definitely upset. Upon use, the gap at the bottom under the glass is positioned with no guard of any sort so water will easily splash at that poi t and up and out of the shower. This is a design flaw and has nothing to do with installation. Within a year the large rollers are hard to roll and discoloring, and rubber seals along glass tearing along seam and cant find replacements.

So far so good
I purchased this shower door kit, for looks and price point. Replaced shower doors in a refinished fiberglass enclosure. There is a large gap at the bottom of the doors, specifically on the inside door. This was easily fixed by buying a roll of transparent collapsible shower threshold, and sticking it on. Doesn't look bad and quick fix. Enough on the roll to change strip out 3 times. Hopefully this will last 18 years like the one it replaced

Track broke after 1 year
The shower door looks nice, but after having it for one year the track started to stick and was difficult to move. One day returning home the shower door was shattered after the track broke and it fell. It looked like the issue was with one of the top wheels. Really disappointed we spent the extra money to have a more appealing track and it’s wasted after a year. Also thankful no one was in the shower when it broke

leaking under the frame
Bought this frame and for our new remodeled bathroom. It has only been 1 week and we have had continuous leaking under the frame. We can not figure out what to do. We have caulked and re-caulked. We love the way the frame and doors look we just need to get it to stop leaking :-( I do not want to have to take it all down again

Glass Shattered / Need Rollers only
Had a professional install this. About a year later the glass with the exposed rollers attached completely shattered when we went to slide it open.
I’ve purchased the door(s) and handle(s) but only need the exposed rollers (without having to purchase the $350 kit). I’ve contacted delta via email and held on the phone until their offices eventually closed. Never got a reply.

Terrible quality
Doors looks great but… not stable, terrible deal and sitting in the kitchen one of the doors shattered after being installed for 2 months. Hopefully this review will get us some help for the replacement.

This shower door track plus Delta shower doors installed per instructions, with only a few difficulties.
I am pleased with this shower door system but a few improvements could be made by Delta.
1. One of the sealing blades for the inner door broke during installation. These were very difficult to push on to the door edge.
2. One of the plastic hanger brackets for the doors broke during installation.
Neither of these parts breaking is stopping us from using the shower.
Improvements I would make to this system:
1. Wider side tracks. The walls of our shower are not perfectly plumb and the side track is the only thing keeping water in the shower at the door ends.
2. A magnetic system to keep the doors closed. Any slight touch to the doors causes them to open.
3. A smaller lock-washer in the wheel assembly of the inner door. If this door is adjusted the lockwasher will fall down and scrape on the main track.
4. A way to adjust the outer door for out of plumb side walls.
5. An end seal for the outer door to make contact with the shower wall.

Great customer service!!
I installed these contemporary doors from Delta this weekend and made a bonehead mistake, I cut the bottom track too short!! It clearly states to double check your measurements before you cut...but I'm a guy, I don't read instructions or double check my measurements. OUCH!! I bit me this time. I thought that I was going to have to purchase a whole new kit for $300+ but I decided to reach out to DeltaShowerDoors.com customer support to see what they could do. After providing proof of purchase and a picture of my incorrectly cut track they sent out a replacement track free of charge!!! 1 week later, I'm done with the doors and they look fantastic!!! Love these doors and am blow away by Delta Shower Doors customer support!!! thank you Stephanie!!!

Multiple Flaws
1. Others are right; the bottom sill isn't tall enough to trap water within the enclosure.2. Others are right, the flimsy top bar sinks slightly in the middle which causes doors to open slightly on their own.3. Others are right, there is too much space atop the glass, lets water escape over top.4. Others are right, the installation procedure is a tedious and unnecessarily long as it gets.One new scare that caused one door to slant diagonally, see the picture of the pre-assembled roller bent under the stress of the one door it is supposed to support; literally its sole purpose.I'm as detail-attentive as anyone, and still this item has several inescapable flaws. Won't replace, but I need to contact Delta for a new part at least. Anyone try this before?

Not for the beginner. Height of the shower stall is not stressed but critically important. Many of the shower stalls sold at HD are 61 in tall. This kit is for a 71 in tall stall. You will not recognize that issue until well into the project and parts have been cut. If you have a 61 in stall a portion of the wall above the stall will need to be built out to be flush with the stall. I used a table saw to machine a block of wood to fill the gap. Filled the block with spackling compound and painted to match the wall. Slight bowing of the side guides was compensated by temporarily flexing a board between the guides to force them against the stall prior to caulking. Call out for the hole size in the lower track is too small and you can break the head off of the screw before it can bite into the plastic guide. The plastic caulking scraper kit is very helpful in making a nice caulk bead. Miter box with carbide blade makes clean cuts in the tracks and guides. You will need a file to round the edges of the guides if installing on a fiberglass stall

I feel so bad to give this beautiful product a one star review. Everything looks so nice and the door slid easy and smooth.
BUT:
It leaks water from the bottom, a lot. The distance between the bottom of the door and the track is to large and the track itself is to short at the L part. The result is water at the outside curb on every shower and also in the floor.
I just can not take it out. it's a brand new shower box and you need to make TWELVE rows in the tiles to install it.
I'm really upset with the results after getting a so nice shower installed. It take me 1 month of hard work to get it done.

There is a gap at the bottom that allows water to get out. They have bumpers that go where the doors hit the tile on the side walls that make the door stick out a half inch and the rubber they give you for the side of the doors does not sit very well. Just overall bad designing

Love this product I Finished remodeling my bathroom and installing my new shower and was so nervous about installing the sliding Door due to a lot of negativity that i read online about it " track would bent and doors won't close water splashing outside the shower ect....."
Followed the instructions and from there it was strait forward we are a family of 4 adults my shower consist of a head shower two body sprayers and a handle sprayer
so Far so good i have the doors installed since Thanksgiving finger crossed

i've installed four of these doors. first, some complain of the top rail sagging due to the weig...
i've installed four of these doors. first, some complain of the top rail sagging due to the weight of the glass. yes, the rail will sag. what i did is bend the rail so that it has a slight curve up in the middle. about a 1/4" bend upwards. with the weight of the glass, it will go almost flat. i did not install any of the rubber seals. those just get filthy and make cleaning the glass harder. i also made some plastic caps to prevent the inner glass from bouncing out of the track. and to prevent water from splashing out from the gap under the glass, i bought a long clear plastic square tube and just lay in on the bottom track. you cant really see it, and it prevents water from splashing out.
