We recommend applying silicone to the underside of the flange. The gasket part number RP6142 should be included.

Delta pop up sink assembly was a direct replacement for...
Delta pop up sink assembly was a direct replacement for my original delta drain. My original was brushed nickel, which was not available. The chrome does look nice.

Don't buy the plastic one...it will just break if you...
Don't buy the plastic one...it will just break if you tighten it too much and you do need to tighten it so that the water doesn't leak through. Got the two plastic ones and both broke and after getting these metal ones, no more leaking and it also looks great. Definitely recommend getting them even though they are more expensive but worth it. Worth the money, time and effort.
