The basket style fan blades snap off after about 2 years and bring the whole unit to a very loud failure. At $250 you should not need to replace the entire unit every 2 years. At least give me an easy way to change out the cheap parts on the fan....

Very glad I went with the .3 scon noise item. It did get a little louder when I hooked up the recommended 4" output line, as the air being pushed through creates a rumble.

Not sufficient power
I have a fairly reasonably size master bath that 110 should cover, but it justbis not strong enough to keep the moisture off mirrors during showers disappointing for sure. It is however amazingly silent as long as yout master bath is not oversized then this will be awesome

A very well designed and constructed fan. It is very quiet considering the airflow, although it is not silent. I also have the 50 CFM unit in another bathroom. Both are rated at <0.3 sones, but the 50 CFM is barely audible. This unit is audible, but not objectionable. It keeps the walls in a 50 sq ft shower room dry.

Easy to install the actual fan unit. I needed an electrician for assistance with the wire connections. This was due to the complexity of the existing three switch wiring. My advice to any novices is to fully understand your existing wiring or plan on having an electrician involved. In my location it cost $250 labor.

Joist brackets that hold the box for attic installation need to be manufactured higher up the box for thicker ceilings. Had to use screws and wood slats to hold in place. Brackets useless.

If the vent piping would have flexible the unit would have been very easy to install but it was not. I also thought it was a 3” vent which it was not. In the end it all worked out ok and it works great.

This was a retrofit of a early 2000's builder grade fan, and it was a huge improvement. It's not as quiet as the Panasonic that I heard in a new build (you actually couldn't hear it), but it's over $40 bucks less. They're both rated as 0.3 sones, so beware of those ratings as they apply to real life. This is still no louder than our furnace and is almost a comfortable white noise. I had been fixated on getting a "silent" fan and at first I was disappointed. But after living with it for a few weeks, I find it really doesn't need to be silent, and you won't forget to turn this one off.
I got the 80 CFM model for a small (6x8) room that includes the toilet and shower. It barely keeps up with a really hot long shower (some of the walls still get some condensation). I would go bigger if the room were any bigger than that. And be aware that you definitely need to leave the door cracked if the space under it is not large. With door closed, it just can't pull enough air under the door.
If you're doing a retrofit, sure you get a good look at your duct, I think it affects the fan more than you might expect. Upgrade it the specified size (or larger) if necessary, and make sure nothing is obstructed. My old duct was 20 feet of 3-inch flexible stuff. This calls for 4 inch, so I replaced 12 feet of it with insulated 4-inch duct and left a few feet of 3-inch because I didn't want to mess with changing the roof vent size. Tried the new fan and it wasn't very effective. Went back into the attic and found a nice wet bird's nest totally blocking the old section of smaller duct where it attached to the roof vent. Obviously much better after that. However, I expect that if the entire duct were 4 or even 6 inch, and maybe even smooth rigid duct, the fan would be quieter and more effective.
Installation not hard, I had to enlarge the hole and add a wood support as described in the instructions. At first, the wood support seemed like a mickey mouse way to do it, but is actually quite easy and more sturdy than the metal brackets. Be aware that if you have an attic with blown insulation, you'll want to first go up there and pull it away from the fan...otherwise you'll be fighting insulation pouring down when you pull the old unit out.
Overall a good value, but if I had to do it again, I would go even larger on duct. I might try the Broan for the next bathroom...it calls for 6-inch duct. Will have to replace the existing 3-inch stuff, and it won't cost that much more to size it up even more.
