I had a big clearing job, and was in a fix for what to do about some small tree stubs, branches and young trees. On the second day, I decided my fix was a CS-303T-12. I fired it up just after lunch and in an hour or two, all my problems were solved, and I didn't feel tired or overworked. Treat it good it's an arborists' saw but a great saw!!

Havent used it yet but looks same / similar to my 20+ year old CS3000 which has been a great little saw. my old CS3000 has been very versatile, cuts just about everything with exception of very large trees, light weight, easy to use, and very reliable (I don't use ethanol blend fuels!). Figured after 20 years, might be time to get a new saw even though my old saw still functions well after replacing the oiler pump. Hoping this new 303T serves as well as its predecessor. Time will tell

it works very well and I handle it with one hand it is excellent

I have had my cs-303t 6+yrs and hate to admit it but have never done a thing to it no new plug air filter just gas an oil an go. The only thing changed on this saw so ce I have gotten is I put a 16in bar an chain on it. This saw is a beast I have cut very large trees with this baby . At one time it was the only saw that I had that would run an used it to clear 6 acres with ease. Best all around top handle saw out there in my opinion.

Saw was very hard to start and would not cut under load. Changed fuel. No difference. Took it back to dealer, they adjusted the carburetor. Starts fine now, will tell in the near term if this corrected it

Power is good. often difficult to start. on/off toggle switch is in a terrible spot, every time I grab handle with left hand I unintentionallyshut it off. Gas and oil fill caps in weird locations

I recently purchased this saw after comparing it to Husky and Stihl. I usually buy only Stihl, but I cannot justify the price of Stihl chainsaws any more. This CS 303T reminds me of the feel of the older top handle chainsaws, back when they sold them as "compact chainsaws". It is much lighter than I thought it would be. It has plenty of power for trimming and small tree felling. It is very comparable in power to a Stihl MS 170 or 180, but much more compact. I also do appreciate the extended warranty Echo gives you compared the the others. If your looking for a small saw for camping, or property maintenance, a saw that can be easily packed on a ATV or dirt bike, this is the saw for you.

Great size but when you turn it on it's side... like every tie you use it, it dies. First one had to have the jet rebuilt. Second one we attempted to use at Christmas but it failed and we got 3 minutes use out of it. Finally took it in to the shop a month ago and they're still trying to make it work.

Super excited about this saw but it was terrible. Brought it to an echo dealer to warranty the issue but they didn’t fix it and the saw wouldn’t perform. Returned for a refund

I’ve done tree work since 1995 and nothing beats echo in a tree. Nothing compares definitely not stihl , Poulan, craftsman. Homelite to bulky and heavy and the vibration ratio is low on the echo. Echo weighs about 7lbs. Now unfortunately if I want to cut big stuff I always go with Husqvarna nothing beats their power. And for all the bad reviews quit buying from a pawn shop. Learn how to clean out the carb quit dropping your saws don’t cut into dirt

Love this saw One hand use

Great climbing saw! Performs just as well as a Stihl or Husqvarna at a much cheaper price. Better warranty as well.

Very good saw, worth every penny; but had to adjust the carburetor before running the first tank of gas out of it. was hard to crank even after running a while. But other than that great saw would recommend

Chainsaw was easy to assemble

I have used several chain saws including Echo for 35 years and found Echo to be excellelt. The CS303T is excellent once you get it started, but it has a very high ratio with the starter mechanism. When it is cold the compression is very high and it cannot be started in a tree, or on a ladder. The instructions say to start it on the ground with the left hand and the right knee holding the back handle. This is not possible in a tree where I do most cutting. I would like to return it for another that has a lower ratio of starting cord to turn over. My last Echo was a CS280EP, a great saw without this problem, but it no longer available.

Echo equipment is the best and fair deal at the depot

I worked with my Brother part time doing tree work trim or remove and this echo chain saw is light weight and easy to control great for trimming branches can control with one hand easy start

I used saw at my hunting camp and it work flawless. It’s starts easy light weight and cuts great. Sure it’s not for big tress but for my needs it’s great. I would definitely recommend it for what it is.

This saw starts much to difficultly to be used as intended.(While in a tree)

I have a full size Echo Timber Wolf that I love but always wanted something smaller that would be easier to use to thin out the tops of down trees. The CS-303 is the perfect tool for the job. It's light and manuverable. So easy to use. Wish I would have purchased one years ago.

I bought this about a month ago and have only been able to use it once because of the weather but it handled great. It’s light weight and easy to handle. Highly recommend this saw because of its quality.
