EcoSmart Bluetooth Speaker LED Light Bulb 60 Watt Equivalent. Includes switch to customize light color in 5 shades from soft, bright, white, cool, and daylight. Non-dimmable. Regular base that can be used in most lamps or fixtures. Except for metallic end, appears like most other new changeable light bulbs. Bluetooth speaker is the surprise in such an average size bulb. Requires no special equipment - set up with your smart phone. Okay, I had to ask my kid for help. Bulb does make a sound immediately upon turning on to indicate it is active. There are no instructions in box, print on box and device is tiny. You have to look it up on website or have a little tech savvy to operate.

Okay, this EcoSmart LED light bulb and speaker are probably not the first choice of snooty audiophiles, but it’s been awesome for listening to podcasts and occasionally some music. I’ve used it in table lamps and in spot or work lights. Combining the light and speaker is freeing up a plug for something else. Also, 800 lumens of the exact color temperature light that I want is pretty convenient for a speaker. Ironically, the setup on the speaker is unbelievably easy. Turn the light on, then pair the Bluetooth to my phone and start listening. Turns out I really like the bulb as a light and it’s genuinely a really handy speaker.

What a great product. You get a light bulb and a speaker to Bluetooth your phone or device to to have music anywhere you can put this bulb. The sound quality is actually quite nice. The bulb is very nice and has five different light settings depending on what you prefer either a soft white or a bright white. Throw this anywhere you want to have light and to have music in the same location. Great invention get yourself one or many to have music throughout your house.

This EcoSmart A19 LED Bluetooth speaker bulb combines selectable shades of white lighting (Warm White 2700K, Soft White 3000K, Neutral White 3500K, Bright White 4000K or Daylight 5000K) with Bluetooth technology. This has a integrated Bluetooth speaker that will play your favorite tunes by simply connecting to your favorite Bluetooth device like a cell phone without the need for extra wiring or a hub. You can switch the lighting in your home throughout the day to match your mood or to help you complete the task at hand. This bulb emits 800 Lumens of light and uses only 9-Watts. This is a great idea for special occasions, partys, Christmas, when you might need music but don't want to move a stereo around. This is also a great idea if you like listening to podcasts, simply turn on the light and link to your phone and you're all set. The music is soft but adequate, it's in a small housing so it's not gonna be overly loud or full of bass but it does the job.

EcoSmart 9-Watt Equivalent A19 Speaker LED Light Bulb with Selectable Color Temperature (1-Pack). Although this is a fun twist on an LED light bulb I fail to see the practicality. The built-in blue tooth speaker sounds very strong with clarity unexpected in a small speaker. There is no requirement for an app to enjoy the speaker because it with pair with your phone or other Blue Tooth source of music. It took several tries to get it to pair on my Samsung S10+ but eventually I found the right combination to get it to work. I was going to take a video to display the sound quality, but the speaker shut off In favor of my video input. Because there is no control app the bulb must be on to enjoy the music. Not sure when I would be listening to music with a bright light on. Certainly not during the day. This would be a nice speaker to place any where a light fixture is available including something like a fan. The 60-watt equivalent is very bright and may not fit in all light fixtures. It has the size and shape of a conventional bulb. The bulb does sport a switch that allows the bulb to be put in 5 different color settings from soft white to daylight and consumes only 8.8 watts of power. The switch must be set before the bulb is place in the socket. I think this would be more practical if there was a way to turn the bulb off and still enjoy the music. I would not enjoy the speaker if it was a hassle to pair to blue tooth whenever it is used. The bulb is ok to use in closed fixtures and in wet locations. It is not recommended to be used where directly exposed to water.

Very cool speaker. Neat concept, and used by my nite stand for added late night YouTube fidelity. Pros: selectable color allowing matching the other light in the room. I my case, I had another nite stand lamp and matching color looks nicer in the room..easy to locate on the blue tooth connection on device. Note: there is no app required. Plug (er, or twist) and play Cons: the audible tune played when you ppwer up the lamp, would be nice to be able to silence. Maybe you can there is little instructions.

Its integrated Bluetooth speaker sounds great in our Master Bathroom and was very simple to connect to the Bluetooth device without the need for extra wiring or a hub. You can switch the lighting color temperatures, but we like the Daylight brightness in our home. It Installs like any standard bulb into an E26 base socket fixture and you csn select a range of shades of white light (Warm White 2700K, Soft White 3000K, Neutral White 3500K, Bright White 4000K or Daylight 5000K). It claims the bulb emits 800 Lumens of color selectable light and uses ony 9-Watts, but I have no way to measure either claim. It is a very nice light and a good speaker with good sound! I would recommend.

I got this bulb just to see how it sounds. I was not expecting much but to my surprise it sounds great! It connected easily to my Bluetooth on my phone and held the signal as I walked around the house. The bulb not only delivers a full range of high, mid range, and bass sounds but it is also a good light bulb offering five different light settings from warm to bright white. The sound in the video was recorded directly from the bulb. I wonder if I could connect to multiple bulbs? ...Hmmm.

I never thought this was possible to have a light bulb and a speaker just amazing and a bonus the color changing. !! I tested it outside on my back porch and it worked great, then I set it in my living room in floor lamp and love it. The bulb in concealed and you can play music instantly through Bluetooth and when I played music my kids were like looking around and saying " where is that music coming from?" They were amazed. My wife likes to use it to play soft music when our baby is napping. Very easy to connect, just turn on the light and the bulb makes a sound and it's ready to connect. The speaker is much louder than expected. Our living room and kitchen is connected and music is well heard throughout. Super cool gadget. Check out the video see it in works

I have a 8 year old and he loves music and always wondered about these Bluetooth light speaker combos. I'v always been happy with ecosmart and decided to give it a try. I went into this with not very high hopes and was truly quite impressed. The quality of the sound and volume was pretty darn good. Now if your expectations are to have a ton of bass sorry it's not going to happen. But is perfect for just a relaxing volume. Now for the light quality it's right on par with similar led bulbs with no speaker, you can switch the color temp form 2700k to 5000k to match your preference of light temperature. I highly recommend for anyone and in a table lamp it's 100% hidden it's the perfect fit and cheap also. Great ecosmart product.

This fantastic LED light is equipped with two great technologies. One of them is the energy-savings LED which can be changed via the integrated switch to different setting according to preferences for adjusting the light color intensity. In my case I picked the daylight setting and this provide a very white bright light. The other technology is the tiny but powerful speaker which easily connects to your cellphone or other Bluetooth capable device (i.e., laptop, tablet) and you can adjust sound level from low to high. I install it in my balcony and started playing music at which point my wife could not believe that the music was coming from the light bulb, she was amazed. We truly enjoy this light bulb as we seat outside listening to music without having to run cables or moving sound equipment around. You can also enjoy it in a table or night lamp with different light intensity and simply turn on the light, connect and enjoy your favorite podcast, radio, music, or whatever you like to listen. Great blending of two technologies. Highly recommended.

The Selectable Color Temperature feature allows use to adjust it to match other light bulbs around it. Our friends are always asking about it. Everyone is amazed that is sounds so great. Please try it out and gift it to your friends and family. They will thank you for it a millon time!!!!

I got the Ecosmart 9 watt equivalent A19 speaker lightbulb with selectable color temperature for my craft room. I like to listen to music while I am working but I do not have a lot of space for speakers and I tend to bury my phone under stuff if I listen to music on it. Since I am in there a lot and am limited on space I thought this would give me the best of both worlds, light and music. I already had a light in there so it was just a matter of swapping the bulbs out and boom I have music now too! The Bluetooth connection could not have been easier to set up. I screwed the bulb in and turned on the power and before I had time to unlock my phone it had already found it. The bulb has five selectable colors which are bright white, soft white, daylight, true whit and cool white. Since I do a variety of things in there I appreciate being able to change the color of the light to suit my needs at the moment. The switch to change it is conveniently located on the side of the bulb and just slides from one position to the other. The end of the bulb is a silver color (though in the picture it looks black) as that is where the speaker is so it does not emit light from that section but is still bright enough. In my particular lamp it can not be seen so I am not worried about the appearance of it though some people may be depending on their application. Being Led it will use way less electricity than the 60 watt bulb that it is equivalent to which really appeals to me considering I will be using it for hours on end. The speaker is ok enough for what it is. Since it is not a stand alone speaker you can not expect wonderful stereo sound out of it. I did notice if you turned the volume up too far it did distort and get tinny sounding. This would also be good for a childs room. Overall its not bad and it solved my issue.

The ECOSMART Speaker Bulb is a great product that is simple to use. The lamp comes with a selector switch to choose the right brightness for you. The built-in BlueTooth speaker is easy to set up and sounds great. There is no bulky speaker lying around or power cords either for that matter. Simply replace the bulb in your lamp or overhead light, and presto you have a speaker. The speaker is easy to find in your BlueTooth connection guide on your phone, tablet, computer, or TV. The sound quality is pretty good for this device. With the 5 choices of whiteness color rendition, you can match the bulb to your decor or existing bulbs. This lamp uses only 8.8 watts and is LED. Nice product that is simple to use. Your friends will be looking all over for where is the sound coming from.

I tried this speaker out on the “Drinking Lamp” on my home bar. One of the first things I noticed about this lamp was that it had zero instruction on using its Bluetooth features – no package insert, nothing on the box or the product itself, and no links from Home Depot’s website. (On the other hand, there are four different references on how to customize the color (temperature) of the bulb’s light.) Without instructions and not knowing the Bluetooth device name, it takes a bit longer--Four attempts and a phone restart for my telephone; three attempts for my wife’s phone. To help you in your configuration, I’ll share that the Device Name is “SPEAKER BULB”, and that it can only establish remember Bluetooth session at a time. (It can remember that connection even when turned off, but connecting to a second phone or Bluetooth transmitter will cause it to forget about any previous connections.) The Bluetooth connection only functions when the light is turned on. Sound quality is fair – a considerable step above the speakers built into our phones., but a bit tinnier than a small Smart speaker or dedicated external Bluetooth speaker. The bulb has no speaker controls, so any adjustments must be made from the source device. The (60W replacement) LED light bulb works acceptably well, and switches easily between five different color temperatures (2700K-5000K). It has an expected life of about 15,000 hours and a three year warranty. I found that this light got unexpectedly warm – not quite incandescent bulb temperatures, but uncomfortable to the touch.

While you may think that you never need or use a light bulb with a Bluetooth speaker, you might be surprised. This little speaker makes a great bulb for lamp in my bedroom. It is energy efficient using only 9 watts with a 60 watt equivalent. It’s great for listening to music at night before sleep. The only thing missing is a switch to turn the light off and leave the speaker on. One thing about it that I really like is that I can set it to my choice of 5 different color temperatures with the switch that is right on the bulb. That’s pretty amazing to have all of this in one small light bulb. It is easy to set up with my phone by just powering on the bulb and turning on the Bluetooth feature of my phone, then selecting Speaker Bulb and voila, it’s ready to go. It could be used in any room with a lamp or overhead light that takes an A19 bulb. The sound is pretty amazing as well. I really do love this.

Sound is good for an item like this. Light output is not hampered by the speaker. This is exactly what I was wanting. I would recommend to anyone who likes to listen to music in the shower

Terrible sound low volume

I wanted a device that connected to Alexa for party mode and group device pairing. This wasn’t it.

How many bulbs can I connect together to make it a surround sound experience?

The best part of this bulb is the color temperatures. Unfortunately, I will probably only choose one "temp" and leave it. I bought it because it was as speaker. The sound is tinny, and the bass is practically non-existent. I bought a GE speaker bulb over 2 years ago, and that one sounds better. I boutght the bulb to play music, now thwe best I can do is freak my brother out when he comes to stay.
