Nice product for the money. Has a slightly water resistant finish so my hard water doesn’t leave spots if I don’t dry the sink with a towel.

Not worth it
I bought this thinking it would be better than just a basic stainless sink. It sucks to clean and keep clean. It shows a lot of marks and scratches and grime. I do like the size of it but after 2 years I will be going back to a stainless steel sink

It is recommended to clean Elkay sinks daily to avoid build-up of soap or mineral deposits. For daily cleaning use an ordinary mild detergent and soft cloth to rinse and dry the sink. Using a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution with the Mr. Clean® Magic Eraser® or a small amount of baking soda and water on a toothbrush can help remove tougher stains. Prior to making this purchase, I gave a Ms. Kennedy - the sink specialist at Home Depot- the specific exterior dimensions of the existing sink which were 22” deep and 33” wide. She went online and told me this sink would work. After delivery and an installation visit by Heaton Construction- we found that this sink was 21 1/4” deep and left a 3/4” gap! The Heaton plumber had to remove it and re-install the old sink. Prompting another visit to Home Depot another two week wait for the correctly sized Elko sink and another visit from Heaton for install all because of Ms. Kennedy’s failure to look at Both dimensions on the first purchase. She never apologized.

Dayton / Cassidy Drop-In 4-Hole Sink
It is not helpful when you order a 4-hole sink but receive a 3-hole sink. Not helpful at all especially when you’ve already set up an appointment with a plumber. What a total inconvenience.

Good looking and versatile-
This bad baby looks so sharp and stylish in our kitchen, I decided to also get a new faucet and it’s so big that even out 11 year old wants to do dishes- if you kids you know. After reading the reviews ,we decided to wait for the hot water to get a cool before dumping in sink to avoid any issues but other than that happy with the purchase.

The Elkay Crosstown undercount sink is high quality and attractive. The 33-inch size is spacious but not so large as to look out of proportion to my 38-inch sink base cabinet and surrounding cabinets. I selected the heavier 16-gauge stainless steel version and am very pleased with its sound dampening. It’s only been in use for about one month but I don’t foresee any issues. My only surprise was that the drain included as part of the kit doesn’t accommodate a disposal. That information should have been more prominently stated. Fortunately, I had saved the old drain which the plumber was able to reuse. The cost to reposition the pipes for the offset drain was anticipated and well worth it. The offset design allows dirty pots and dishes to remain in the sink without blocking the drain. Plus, the disposal is now situated towards the back of the cabinet, freeing up more storage space under the sink.

Stain, stain, stain!
So disappointed in this sink. Out of the box and newly installed, it was beautiful. That didn't last long, within months we noticed that the bottom of the sink seemed to stain quite easily. We were told to use Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. Great, seemed to work....for a while, yet the longer we own the sink, the quicker and more stubborn the stains become. Even quartz cleaners don't do the job - would not recommend this sink. Had for 1.5 yrs.
