I bought this a couple years ago to pick up stuff in the yard while mowing with my zero turn mower. It can pick up some sizeable sticks and rocks and various toys. The plastic teeth are surprisingly strong. It's also quite light and the trigger mechanism is very comfortable with good leverage. Would highly recommend

I do not understand the rave reviews unless all you are doing is picking up paper, or something lightweight. This does grip , but it can not hold anything weighing over a couple of pounds. Internal wire cable eventually pulls through the tool when trying to hold on to something with some weight. When trying to hold anything of weight , it can not hold onto the item for very long before the cable breaks from the jaws and becomes useless. I now use it to pick up dog poop because it doesn't work for anything with any weight. I have broke at least 3 of these and Home Depot just keeps replacing them.......Complete waste of money.

Overall I'm happy with this gripper. We have cabinets that go to the ceiling in our kitchen and the top shelf is virtually impossible to reach for my wife. She usually uses a set of salad tongs to pull items down. This is perfect for her. The gripper part itself is very rubbery and grabs with ease. It's only designed to hold small items, and it does that perfectly. The articulating end is a nice feature for picking up different items from different angles. My only concern is the plastic of the trigger. The wire that runs through the shaft connects to the trigger and this doesn't appear to be too strong, however it's not going to be abused and should last for a long time. Please note in the video that the can i'm using is larger than average (over 1lb of meat and potatoes), which is why it took a little more effort go get it in and out of the jaws. A slightly smaller can or anything else wont present this problem.

Easy to grip things with

My favorite grip n grab tool. It picks up the smallest debris in my yard so well. In my opinion, no other grabber works as well as the Ettore Reach Tool.

Since I am handicapped, I find it an exceptional tool to have on hand. I have one for each area of my home and even the small item on the floor can be picked up with it. One of my greatest purchases.

I just got this 2 weeks ago. So far, so good. Its design is not very comfortable for my hand. But it does the job! Seems sturdy enough. I got it to mostly use in the yard -- picking up pine cones & small sticks. No problem with those light weight objects. Time will tell how durable or how long it will last.

Love it, very sturdy and so helpful

The Ettore Grip N Grap allows me to grip and grab stuff that I'm too fat and lazy to bend over and pick up. I have used these for over a couple decades and they are a very convenient tool. My only criticism is that, eventually, the plastic "neck" part fails and cracks. I wish they would replace the plastic neck with aluminum, but who am I to ask?

It fell apart after only 1.5 months! I literally have wire holding it together to make it functional.

Bought this same tool a few years ago. Still works great, but is getting a little worn. Will use old one outside for picking up trash and stuff. This new one will be just for inside around the house.

I have used this grab tool before and wanted several others for around the house. It is comfortable in my hand and appears to be made out of strong material. Although it is not cheap, it is very well made, and you will not have to replace it for a long time.

I like this grabber. I recycle almost every day and this one really does the trick. There are others out there as well however they bend and they break in the middle.

A 32 inch model was sent instead of the 34 inch model I had ordered. I found the grabber to be not very well balanced when picking up Anything with a little weight. The staff of the grabber needed to be supported with my other hand.

Use to pick up litter along highway.

Good grabber and surprisingly adroit. My Christmas cactus tends to drops leaves and I was able to pick them up from the floor using this Grip ‘n Grab. Also, the grabber end can be turned 90 degrees, to use it either parallel or perpendicular to the pistol grip. Very convenient!

Great reach bars, extremely strong and will pick up and hold most as anything. The grip and clamp strength is exceptional compared to other brands.
