Original faucet couldn't be repaired for drip. Easy to replace original 36 year old faucet on my home. House has brick exterior on 2x4 framing with 1/2 " ply. Only trouble was length on inside was difficult to hold pipe fitting. Took 2 people to replace. One to hold fitting on inside house and 1 to unscrew outside faucet.

Poor valve design. The flathead screw at the end of the valve that holds the rubber washer is made of soft brass and has a wide slot that does not fit commonly available screwdriver bits. It is held tight by the brass screw on a springloaded, movable seat and it easily strips when force is applied while using a wide flathead screwdriver tip. There seems to be no way of replacing the rubber washer and the whole assembly is meant to be replaced or disposed as soon as it starts leaking.

Put this faucet in 1.5 years ago, finally went to use it and it leaks like Niagara falls, see picture and before you say too much back pressure the other end of the 25' hose is open ended and my well runs a 40-60 pressure switch! I am a Licensed Plumber in Maine and I will never use 1 of these on a customer's house, I tried tightening the packing nut but it was already as tight as the treads would allow! Buy yourself a Mansfield style and save yourself the headache!!

Easy replacement, though needed a fitting to increase 1/2 MIP to 3/4 MIP.

Valve won't shut off!! I will be returning it as soon as I can this weekend.

It's been in use for a couple of weeks now, and so far I have no complaints.

This Everbilt Sillcock was easy to install and works well. There are no leaks. Build quality is excellent.

This faucet is quite easy to install. I bought the 8" version and due to the type of construction of our house, I wish I would have purchased a longer one. If you are installing on a typical house with a basement and you are installing between the floor joists, and 8" version will generally suffice. My construction is a little different (older).

It turns on and off - for how long? Like everything made today I am sure it is made to not last. Check back in 30 years.

My 1/2 X 12 inch model wore our very quickly and was unable to find replacement parts from Home Depot and other hardware stores.

Dont buy it, last me 6 months and i went to ask for exchange at home depto in hays ks and Tania de manager told me i should get a new one! Im not buying this junk again !

They leak, hard to twist open or closed. Went through two. Never again

The sillcock was easy to install and the handle easy to grasp and turn

Replacing a different make. Liked original better. It had a larger flange to secure to wall and only needed 1/4 turn to open valve. This one works fine and installed easily. It was less expensive so a good value for price

Screw in fitting makes it easily replaceable if damaged. Installed with a slight tilt to drain water when turned off. Works as described.
