It’s a steel rod. What is there to review. It’s steel and it’s a rod. It worked as expected.

It's a piece of steel. As described.

The rod is well-formed and without mill scale, so it is easy to use and weld.

The rod is accurately formed, and has no mill scale that has to be removed, so very easy to work with.

hard to find item and reasonably priced

Perfect, used it to craft spray painted string retainers for guitars.

I used this steel to make a set of miniature cowboy spurs. It performed as I expected. JJK

It's a steel rod. Functions as expected. Magnetic characteristics deviated end-end by .003% so beware. Bends well when properly heated.

Convenient to have available locally however the price is on the higher side. Would be buying more if the Home Depot sold metal stock with "bulk pricing" or better pricing in general..

What's to say? It was the correct dimensions, it's steel, although I can't verify the mill specifics. It arrived in good straight condition. It's beautiful.

It was a piece of mild steel... Would I recommend it to people? Yes if they were looking for a simple piece of mild steel and didn't want to pay for a yard worker to cut a bigger piece smaller from a steel distributor.

Heats well in the forge.

very good, unfortunately it doesnt fit my application...

It's a steel square rod. I mean the best steel rod I ever purchased! Actually, I was happy to find square rod at the Home Depot. I usually just find round. Thank you!
