The installation went well, with some help from a friend. I did not want to undo the spring and then take the time to re-set it, sticking a wedge in the hinge to hold it open worked just as well.

The hinges were unable to hold the weight of the door we were installing.

These little darlings made my swinging saloon doors perfect.

Makes a lot of noise

Installed hinge on louvered door used as pass through door between adjoining closets. Instructions were a little difficult to follow, but after viewing YouTube video install was very easy.

Not good for anything above 20 lbs

The instructions only mentioned how far down from the top of the door to place the hinge. I dropped it the required 3 inches and on the door jam I did a total of 3 1/8 of an inch drop from the top. Worked better than the fancy one my customer had chosen LOL

Bought this thinking it could be 2 hinges. Nope, it only one. So I learned about these types of hinges.

These hinges do work although are a but noisy and installation was not difficult until it came time to adjust the spring tension. Major error in directions, only one side can load tension toward the door not both ! One side of the door the adjustment screws are rotated away from the door, keep in mind adjustment pins must be stopped by hinge frame. One hinge was missing stopper pins all together. I used three hinges on a 36 x 80 pine door.

The hinges made the door swing nicely. It was a heavy door and required 3 with 2 at the top to insure great alignment.

These hinges work great, easy to install and make coming in or out of the yard so much runner with the grandkids

Worked great on lightweight 2.0’ doors. Easy to adjust.

This was a pretty easy installation. It looks like two hinges in one package but it's actually one so if your door has 2 hinges buy a second. It looks good, swings both ways, opens up easily, you can adjust the tightness, and it's pretty quiet.

Very hard to install - need three at least for one door. Setting the springs so that the door opens as you would like in either direction without snapping back at you or falling forward away from the jam and thus hitting the opposite jam is very tricky.

A small pin is inserted to keep spring tension. I would suggest including two extra pins with each set of hinges as some holes are tight and the pin will fall out if not inserted all the way. Of 4 hinges, I lost 2 pins. Otherwise, these hinges are great for their intended use.

These hinges did not meet my expectations. I was told they would work for a lightweight dog door and two hinges would not hold it. I saw many reviews that said three hinges were needed, which is crazy for less than half a door. Very disappointed. Wasted half a day trying to adjust and get them to work and ultimately having a failed project.

These hinges were used on my new house two years ago and now I'm replacing them due to binding and broken springs inside. These are very cheaply designed.

Easy to install and heavy duty hinges. Would recommend!

Hinges were as expected but the springs are already noisy and squeaking

The hinges are easy to install and easy to adjust. The adjustments made it very easy to level the door and bring it to center. If I could recommend one thing to the manufacturer it would be to include 2 tension pins to make adjustments faster and easier.

Love these hinges. When i read the reviews i was on the fence. But after getting them and installing them i see the issue they are having is a matter of understanding the instruction on how to tension the hinges. Thought “great they are junk” till i figured it out. Not trying to explain on here but trust me. They work awesome, if they are not then your likely not tensioning them properly.

Works as good as I had it planned in my head.

We cut a 28" 6 panel door in half to make a saloon door into our master closet. It worked prefect.
