They are working out just fine. Although it is difficult to shop at Home Depot, I can never find anyone to help me.

The oil rubbed bronze hinges look good and work smoothly. I appreciate the hole in the bottom cap which makes pin removal easy. However, the hole placement did not match my old hinges and did NOT match the pictures on the HD website. The screw holes in the two halves are the mirror image of each other, but the website picture is just the opposite.

Good hinges, will see how well they do in time, slightly thinner material than the original ones that I had to replace, by about 1/32". The grease inside had thickened probably due to long shelf time: found out when removing the pin to change from left to right position. If was very hard to get the pin out as the grease was behaving like a very strong flexible (vinyl floor like) adhesive. Cleaned and greased back, now working fine. Same problem with the 3-1/2" squeak-free hinges, 75% (bought about 30pc) of them have the grease compromised. Should have rated three star only but they look good and the squeak-free concept has merit.

The hinges performed exactly the way I needed them to in a 40 year old, heavy, metal, front door. The screws that came with the hinges were all in excellent shape. I could not be happier with the job these hinges are now doing, as well as their condition when I took them out of the package.

Just put them in so I don’t know longevity yet but they are smooth and squeak free after installation.

I hate these squeek free hinges -- they are hard to work with. Only buy them when there is no alternative and I need hinges immediately.

Good product. Great replacement for the old hinges. Holes didn't line up with old, but work fine.

I was disappointed that the opening for the screws on the hinges did not match the openings on the door frame. I have to return them.
