This is a really nice system. Very happy with how study and attractive it is, plus the shelves are very deep so you can fit plenty on them. My only complaint would be the wooden covers. They don’t click over the wire racks like the directions said they should. They sit nicely on top but I would prefer if they were firmly held in place. I installed this myself but it was a much bigger job than I expected. I’ve done cheaper closet systems in other rooms in our house but this was a bigger project that required more tools and time. I define myself as “somewhat handy” and I managed to get it done (watched a couple of YouTube videos when I got confused). Overall I would purchase again. Not a bad price for the turnout.

The white shelf covers are PINK!!:(
The white shelf covers are NOT white. They are light PINK. Do not buy this expecting the covers to be white as advertised. I called customer service, they said to uninstall the entire unit and return for a different color. They said their white shelf covers always look “slightly pink.” No way!! Do not buy the white shelf covers if you want actual white covers!:( You will get PINK! I’m disappointed with the product and the customer service.

The white shelf covers are PINK!!!
Do not buy this closet organizer unit with white shelf covers, they are light pink, NOT white as stated. When I contacted customer service about replacing them with white covers, I was told that “this is how the white covers look, slightly pink.” They are very pink! They would be perfect for a baby girl’s nursery but otherwise, stay away from buying the white shelf covers!

Proven to be a sturdy and adaptable design to meet the needs
This tiny closet was in a rental that was always piled high with stuff and the organizer was not getting used as intended. So I modified it to better fit what our renters wanted. The shelves were relocated to hold what they needed not the shoe racks as intended and the closet already had a closet rod shown in the first picture which matched the style. It all mounted up solidly and the renters are very happy.

      Perfect Upgrade
Looks great, more shelf space than the old 12" deep wire shelving. Lots of parts, take your time with the install. Make sure everything is plumb/level and the spacings are correct and you should have no issues. It does take a little time to install so plan accordingly. (4 hours +- with 1 person, demo old and install new) Great product.

      White = Pink?
The white shelf covers are not white, but instead more of a pastel pink. Home depot refuses to replace just the covers and insists I uninstall the wire shelving and return the whole set for replacement. They had me contact the manufacturer who acknowledged the issue and then promptly ghosted me. In addition, as other reviews mention - the spacing guide provided is an incorrect size.

        Difficult to assemble
I received this shelf rack system to install in a closet in my basement. After sorting through the 10 boxes for the kit and painting the existing closet space, I began installing the rack system. All went well but found the wire shelving difficult to clip in place. After a while I developed a knack to install the wire shelving but other systems I've worked with didn't require this experience. The system does look nice and the included rack covers and shelving covers makes for an install that mimics wood.

        Great concept
this rack is reasonably simple to install. You must install the top bar fist, than install and secure the verticals to the wall. It can be up to 7' tall, but I only needed 4' for my application, which is easily accommodated. The verticals come in three parts each, allowing you to install the rack from 48" up to the full 7' height. This is nice flexiblity. Each shelf is a wire shelf, with a plastic cover and end covers. when completely assembled, it looks pretty decent and remains completely flexible. I am not the biggest fan of the actual shoe racks. They don't want to secure very well, and seem rather flimsy to me. I can see them popping up out of the vertical legs easily. however, they do wipe down extremely easily. overall, this rack added very nice organization to a pre-existing closet without too much work or planning. Good price point as well.

        Great product
This Everbilt - Everbilt 6 ft. Long Hang and Double Hang with Double Shoe Rack and Six Shelf Stack-Birch, Brown was perfect for getting my closet organized. From the start of unpackaging this unit you can see that it is a great product. The hardest part is getting the rails supports laid out in the correct spot and then getting them attached to the wall. After that it is just a matter of getting all the shelving and rods laid out how you need them.

        Interesting, but with many drawbacks
I was excited to use this to upgrade my wife's closet with more storage and in particular, hanger space, but in the end, while I got it in, I would not recommend it. First off, I used only part of the modular system (one shelf and one shoe rack), but given the difficulty of even that installation, I can say this is not for the average DIY homeowner. Here are the issues I encountered: (1) this kit is just one of dozens of configurations, and therefore the parts are shipped individually. This came in four boxes, which was daunting to start with. (2) finding the actual instructions was a challenge, as only one box had the instructions for the full kit (labeled "use and care guide"). There was also a similar-looking "use and care guide" that was nothing but a catalog of the dozens of options you could create with other components, and honestly, it shouldn't have been labeled as a guide. Surprisingly and unfortunately, Home Depot links to the catalog on the website as the assembly guide. (2) The attachment to the wall is by wood screw for studs, or expanding anchor for drywall. The top bracket strangely only has 5 pre-made holes, which did not line up with any of my studs. I'm surprised that the design doesn't have an open rail to increase the chance of lining up with studs. I therefore used the expanding anchor, which I'd never seen before. It had its own problems. The manual suggest drilling a 1/2" hole to get it through, but that wasn't quite big enough. Also, the screws are VERY long because the anchor has to be closed to get it in the hole, and in one location, the screw ended up being too long, hitting an object several inches into the wall, so I had to cut the screw. (3) Even following the very precise requirement on leveling, plumbing, and spacing the vertical rails, I found the racks didn't sit particularly securely in the rails. I'm not confident in this staying in place for decades, as a closet should. (4) both the shelf and the shoe rack actually appeared pinkish in my closet, which has a standard 5000K daylight bulb in it. That was a surprise, as they are advertised as being white. Overall, this is an interesting option, but I think it's really best used by contractors who are installing multiple new closets in a development. The packaging and installation process was not user-friendly for me as a DIY homeowner.

        Well built
Don't be intimidated by the number of boxes that you receive when this arrives. It's nice to have several smaller, clearly marked boxes that are easy to handle rather than one giant box that is too heavy to manage. We put this under our stairs to help organize our storage. The main weight is held by the top rack which is designed for 16" center framing. The top rack had holes about every four inches so you can adjust within 4" of your preferred location and still get the main support in a stud. It comes with plenty of wall mount toggle boles to help secure the vertical racks. It's basically a wire shelf system with plastic covers for the wire racks

        Nice modular closet system
Everbilt's rack, shelf and bar system is a decent mid-grade closet organization system. The white wire and birch woodgrain plastic shelves are pleasing to the eye, and the modular design lets you mix-and-match many combinations of shelves, specialty racks, and clothes-hanging bars. Quality-wise.... it's better than the normal builder's grade shelf and rail, for sure. I'd also rate it better than the wire-rail systems that use plastic connectors . Ships in multiple boxes.

Helpful to add a little organization
Get your box cutter ready, the modular nature of this system means you're getting many things a-la- carte if you will. That being said, once you have everything out of the boxes it starts to click how all the components plays together. Long vertical supports, short vertical supports, and then all of the arms that hold up the shelving, rods, etc. I appreciate they include templates for spacing and plenty of hardware to accommodate multiple mounting surfaces. No complaints on the installation, it all went smooth and took me about an hour. Very pleased to have a bit more organization now and better utilize our closet space. I did run into some issues with alignment once adding on the plastic shelving 'façade'. There are some slight gaps where two pieces butt together. I'm unsure of a way around this other than possibly taping them from the inside? Not a huge deal, it's hidden in your closet and we'll likely have bins or other items covering the seams but something to be aware of. So far plenty strong and no issues about 2 months after install.

        Frustrating to put together.
First of all you need to be extremely patient with putting this together and you need to know that holes need to be drilled in your wall to make the system work. Comes in a lot of boxes the first thing you need to do is sort and put everything in order. If you don’t follow directions you will find you need to go back and fix your error. I wish a you tube video was included.

Easy to install and very sturdy
Everything needed to install and finish up a complete closet system is included. The instructions are great , they include different configurations depending on your need. These are adjust so if your space is not exactly the measurements shown here, you can make some adjustments. I like that the shelves are 16 inches deep because it fits more clothing. The entire system is very sturdy.

Looks great, but comes in a lot of boxes.
I ordered this to do a little customization in my “his” closet because the “hers” closet puts mine to shame. I really like the look of this setup and the gray gives it a clean look along with the white rails. I was a bit shocked that it came in six boxes though. They weren’t heavy but I guess I was expecting a simple installation but after seeing that, I kind of put this project to the side. I was also waiting on other components that I ordered and then caught COVID, so the project is still in the works. I think this is going to look great once installed and I have all of the other pieces that I ordered. The directions look simple enough and I appreciate that their are pictures. Who needs instructions when you have a picture right??

A Serious Upgrade for any Closet!
We were overflowing in a traditional closet with a pole and shelf above. This closet system adds huge versatility and triples the storage versus a conventional closet. Relatively easy to install. Start with the "hang track" and verticle rails. The key is to make sure the hang track is level; everything keys off of it. Once the rails are fixed, then it's simply adding the brackets and shelves. Add the hanging rods and shelf covers. It looks amazing!

        shelves and shoe rack
The Everbuilt shoe rack and shelves is inexpensive way to add shelves and shoe racks to a closet. It does come with a birch covering but overall, I think it i something you would find on a base model new home. Not really impressed. It is easy to assemble, and it has clear directions. It is an easy way to install shelves if this is what you are looking for. The shelves snap into place so it will not move around.

        Closet system
I absolutely love this closet system. It provides a ton of organization. There are three different rods for hanging clothes, lots of shelves that either folded clothes can go on and/ buckets to hold clothing. There is also a long shelf along the top that can hold the entire width of the closet of clothes or items. Lastly, there are shoe racks. This product is sturdy!

        Everbilt 97in wide shelf system
This is modular closet shelf system with many accessories and can be configured many ways with the adjustable shelves, but I got this for a 8 foot closet wall. This particular system starts with a horizontal rail which when leveled and secured to the wall makes installing the remainder of the system easy. All wall mounting hardware is included for mounting to studs as well as anchors for hollow walls. This unit consists of a stack of 4 foot wide section and shelves and two 2-foot side extensions, giving you 8 feet of total system width. The 16 inch deep wire shelves are sturdy, the shelf bracket are strong and mount securely to the vertical bars. The nice feature of these shelves is the sturdy vinyl decorative covers that snap onto the shelves hiding the wire shelf. They are a white sturdy vinyl with a wood grain texture. The shoe racks also have the decorative vinyl covers. The problem I had was with getting all the components I needed. I ordered twice, and still did not get all the pieces of this kit. This item contains two 4ft shoe racks with decorative covers and all hardware for mounting, it includes two 2’ side extensions with a vertical rail to add the 2’side shelves to the center (base kit). I did not receive the two chrome hanging rods that are supposed to come with this system. I did not receive the base kit - no wire shelves for the center section, no horizontal and vertical supports. I did receive the nice quality vinyl covers for the shelves for the base unit, just no shelves It will take a 3rd try at Home Depot now to try to get the remaining/missing components for this system. Once I get all the components I need, this will be a very nice closet shelf system.

        Great quality
I got this closet system from Everbilt for my downstairs guest bedroom, the closet before was not functional at all, I’m planning to replace the pocket door so I can install the full system, but I have part of the system assembled. The directions were very easy to follow and it even comes with paper spacers, make sure you do not throw these away. The birch shelves were super high quality and look just like real wood, they’re so easy to wipe down.

Solid ... Really Solid ... If you build it right!
Solid ... Really Solid ... If you build it right! Follow the directions and you will have a terrific storage solution. Part of that is to be sure that these shelve are anchored into something solid. "Just" drywall will not be enough for any extra weight. You will need more than common anchors. Be sure to attach to wood studs or even cement block. If you do, this will be great, safe and very long lasting.

        Amazing
I had always wanted to add more shelves to the closet. Having an adjustable closet organizer was an added benefits and one that I couldn’t turn down. Delivery was fast and the packaging absolutely great. Installation was a little tricky as the installation manual wasn’t exactly straight forward as I would expect. However, once you get a hold of it, it is pretty easy to follow. It really help alleviate the issue I had with cluttering in my closet. I love the organizer and highly recommend it.

        Finally, a Heavy-Duty closet unit! - Requires wall-drilling
Everbilt 4 ft. Short Hang and Long Hang with Four Shelf Stack-Gray Country of origin - China We were looking for something to make more space in a limited-space area (closets - always closets. . . ) and for many reasons, this product checks the boxes. 1/ Build quality - Without question, this kit is the heaviest I've ever worked with. Sturdy hardware, heavy plating, and made with expansion in mind (if you have more space than we do). 2/ Clear instructions - not only do the instructions come with drawings in addition to the English language directions, they also provided a parts inventory (we used it as a checklist) and suggestions for tools to assemble. The small bits are thoughtfully bagged up, to make sure you get everything, No; a drill and hacksaw are not included, but they let you know to get out your own. 3/ Separate packaging - the system helpfully suggests which box to open first (we got six) and to go from there. Disadvantages - the unit is built to hold substantial loads, so it makes sense to be anchored well, however, my lease will be coming to an end before the year is out, so I don't want to put expansion bolts into wallboard, where I can't catch a stud. Don't let my relationship w/ landlord keep you from getting this, if you're okay with drilling into studs and wallboard.

Easy To Install with Basic Tools, HUGE assortment of shelves
This is a huge modular closet system. All in one. Hangers, shelves, brackets, shelf covers, it's massive and arrives in nearly a dozen boxes. The box that says 'Open first' will have your manual and that's the place to start. What's in the packages is enough to complete one large 8-10 foot long closet, or numerous smaller room and hall closets. This can even cover the side walls of an 8 foot closet. You can arrange the shelves, poles and brackets in any manner you wish, you do not have to follow the pattern in the pictures. This is a DIY build it yourself system that lets you be the boss of the final look. Everything is in matching white. One thing you need to make sure of is that you use the correct hangers for your wall type and that you locate the vertical hangers to studs and not just to drywall. Once your hangers are mounted to the wall you simply hang your shelf brackets on the levels you want and design your own closet storage system. Easy to hang, and fully adjustable as you go. You can also rearrange it as needed in the future without tools as long as you leave the wall hangers in place. Included in this kit: (1) 73.5-in. W x 16-in D. Long Hang with Shelf Stack - Base Kit , (1) 24-in. W x 16-in D Double Shelf - Extension, (1) 2-Pack, 24-in. W x 16-in. D Wire Shelf-Add-On, (2) 49-in W x 12-in. Shoe Rack and Cover in white-Add-On, (3) 2-Pack, 48-in W x 16-in. D Decorative Shelf Cover in White (2) 24-in. W x 1-5/16-in. D, Chrome Closet Rods with end caps. Track and rail covers Hardware all included. I recommend it.

Stencil included is the incorrect width
Not happy. In fact, very upset. I'm an avid DIYr and I followed all instructions to a tee. The vertical rail spacer stencil included is the incorrect width! I am pretty angry that I wasted my time redoing a whole closet which included emptying it, removing the outdated but still perfectly fine shelving, repairing drywall, and 2 coats of fresh paint. I lined everything up exactly per the instructions and then the shelves wouldn't fit. I have included pics of the measurement stencil and the instructions on how to place it. Everything was level and within 1/8" and was still way off. The rails installed were decent thickness, but that about the only good thing I can say. They were still unnecessarily difficult to install, the plastic cover pieces look like they will yellow, the wire shelves bent way too easily, even with the small amount of pressure while trying to install, the brackets are awkward and clunky and I was sent a mixture of white and gray shelf covers so the finished product wouldn't have looked uniform anyway. The white doesn't even look very nice on top of all that. Now, just to get my closet back to looking decent, I'll have to uninstall the rails, patch all of the new holes, repaint, do all that goes along with clean up, and more time with my belongings everywhere but in the closet. I'm not even sure I want to fix this installation or just reinstall the old shelves. If you are going to attempt this installation, use an assembled shelf as the spacer (if you can even get a solid shelf out of it) and not the stencil.

        Very Versatile system!
I am loving the ease and versatility of these Everbilt shelves. Not only are good for the closet they work well for a storage space too! Like a garage. Don’t be overwhelmed by the parts and pieces, this is really simple to install and add or change your settings to meet your needs. There are really only 4 main parts, the Hang Tracks, Vertical Rails, Shelf Brackets, and whatever type of shelving you desire from wire shelves to solid plastic smooth shelves. You can even add a rod to hang your clothes via a clothes hanger. All metal except the solid plastic shelves. Very well made. BEST PART is if you need to adjust or expand your set-up you can buy extra parts and kits and expand your set-up. TO INSTALL just determine how high off the floor you want the racks and the length along the wall you would like to have the shelving to extend. Install the Hang track(s), then space and hang the Vertical Rails (CARDBOARD DISTANCE SPACE FINDER INCLUDED WORKED PERFECTLY!!), then attach the Shelf brackets at desired heights, and place in shelves. All Screws, Drywall anchors, etc. included. Instructions explained well and diagrams help out in figure all the steps out. Again, very simple main steps: 1) Hanging Tracks, 2) Vertical Rails, 3) Shelf Brackets where desired and 4) Shelving. And done!

        Great Product
I looked at several shelving solutions before getting the Everbilt 49.5in Short Hang and Long Hang system. Disclaimer I didn't get it to use in a closet. I needed a system with hanging rods and shelves for not only my craft items but for a friend/client's items for her website so I can easily set up a photo session of the items. This is by far the most durable and sturdy system I found that is very adaptable by adding more pieces that are available. I plan on expanding it by another single piece with shelves later. I do highly recommend reading all of the instruction booklets before you begin. Take measurements before you make holes in the wall! We had to do a little modification on measurements when we discovered a bow in the wall so it is not exactly like the instruction pictures. I love it as it is sturdy enough to hold my sewing machine pressing machine and camera equipment when I'm doing a session in the workroom.

        Sturdy permanent shoe rack
We are painting a walk-in closet so i thought this white Everbilt Shoe Rack would be great for extra shoe & hanging space. Although it seems very sturdy and i love the wood grain finish of the vinyl shelving, there are too many pieces to put this thing together so i need 2 people to assemble this. This is not a free standing shoe/storage rack so unless its going into, say a wood shed you need to attach it to the wall studs which means its permanently there. All the white metal is powder coated for a smoother finish & longevity & the large chrome rod is pretty strong. The only reason i gave it 4 instead of the 5 star rating is the amount of pieces there are

The Everbilt 49.5in Short Hang and Long Hang with Four Shelf Stack-Gray arrived very well packaged with no damage. It comes in a total of siz boxes which are heavy.
