I purchased this product to patch some wood around the exterior of my garage. I purchased two of the 16 oz tubs. When I opened the first tub I found that 1/4 to 1/3 of the product had already hardened prior to opening. The instructions state that this product begins to cure as soon as it is opened and exposed to air. I had to remove the hardened portion before I could reach the usable portion, and the same happened with the second tub making this a poor value due to poor sealing in packaging.

This stuff works great, but I'm really annoyed that a large portion of the product was dried up and unusable.

I used this product to seal two small holes I had in my 6” corrugated drain line. It worked perfectly. I smeared three coats of this just to make sure. I really probably only needed two coats.

I had purchased 3-3lb tubs of Flex Paste to seal a large gap in my driveway. The material is very rubbery when dry. It served the purpose I purchased it for. My grip with the material is that because of poor packaging there was substantial waste because the material had dried out in the container. Perfect rings had formed the size of a wax toilet seal which was useless to me. The shame was I needed to purchased the 3rd container when 2 should have done the job. It ain't cheap.

I used this material to seal a black-water tank leak on our travel trailer. Worked great. It is easy to work with, and sets up quickly. I recommend this product. Bob in Grand Rapids, MI

Yes it stopped a roof drain leak

I had a garbage disposal that cracked, spraying water under my sink when used. Didn’t want to take on replacing it right now so I used the Flex Tape to seal the crack. Didn’t work as the crack ran through a ridge in the disposal casing. Looked at the other Flex products and found the paste. Back to Home Depot to pick up, then applied a layer of paste over the crack and the ridge. Sticky but fairly easy to apply. Waited two days to assure completely dry and gave it a try. Doesn’t leak any more. Now one less thing.

Great for bathroom boo,boos!? Hubby cut new shower door (track guide) to short. Centered with small gaps at each end. Supplier refused to provide a replacement piece (would not sell to customer or HmDepot?). So I searched & searched for the right product to fix this blemish. Found accidently while standing at the paint counter. What!!! LOL Turned out great, I still have to clean up the area a bit, needed to setup. Note: wet fingers with water to smooth out application. And a wet paper towel works good for dabbing into small cracks. I used a sponge stick to apply product. Sticky stuff! Don't touch any other surfaces when working, less mess to clean. Two Thumbs UP!

opening this for the first time most of it was already hardened so I was unable to use the entire container. I wish I didn't use the product at all because it left a very unclean "finish" after completing application because of chunks of dried paste that I couldn't get rid of.

For outdoor repairs where sanding is not required this is a great product. Be sure to follow the directions. If you do not use the entire product in the container, be sure to 1) leave the remaining product flat so that 2) you can push down the foil onto ALL of the product and 3) make sure the foil is pressed into the sides. If you leave air gaps or foil not contacting all remaining product, the edge will begin to harden. Paint thinner works great for cleanup. Hopefully the pics help.

Bought 2 - 6lb containers, and it started to harden on top and along the sides of the container. removed the dried flex seal and used part that had not dried. hard to spread wanted to stick to my putty knife instead of where I wanted to put it. after working with it for a while I was able to apply it. although it had a rough finish, well, I hoped the second container was better but it too was dried and hard to work with after finishing up I had a little left over, I sealed the lid, and stored it well after about a week we had a hard rain, although it did slow down my leak it did not stop it so I went to open the flex seal paste I had left to put another coat over the area, it had dried out and I could not use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this flex paste to fill a hole in my driveway concrete. Once open the paste seems to get stiff. I was able to apply it to my hole in the concrete fairly easy. If you work fast at getting the paste on your project it would be ok. Not sure if I will be able to use the rest in the tube as it dried up fast. It was easy to apply to concrete and seems to be holding up so far.

Bought it for a simple fix and my got the best of it extremely easy and safe to use very pleased with the out come of the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to patch a strainer into a spoon. I was not sure it would work but it did. I even let the water sit in it for 30 minutes and no leaks! I didn’t found a small area that needs to be patched in my roof and will be patching that now that I am sure it will plug the hole and be water proof! I am so impressed

So far I have used Flex Paste to better seal my windows in the basement that let in so much cold in the winter and near my door to fill in a gap that was letting in air. Flex Paste actually looks pretty professional with my quick installation (installed by a someone with no experience) and has literally saved me a lot of money and time. I’ve recommended to several friends who are home owners!

Flex Paste worked well provide adhesion with yet a little flexibility with the beads to the round surface of the bowling ball.

When my bucket recently cracked, I used Flex Paste to seal the 2 inch crack in the lower side of my bucket. I've been using my bucket to carry water in again for over 2 weeks now and it is still holding strong.

This paste works wonders and it is really strong. I used it more than one thing in my house. I used it my bathroom mostly where we had little holes causing some mildew.

For starters, the Flex Paste works on so many different types of surfaces. It works on glass, ceramic, porcelain, metal, wood, brick, pvc, concrete, fabric and so much more. The paste is nice and thick but easy to spread. Once it dries its nice and solid. Whats more, its waterproof. It becomes like a stiff rubber. I would recommend you go to the Flex Seal Flex Paste website and watch the how to video. There is great information on how to use the Flex Paste. Even more importantly there is a very informative video o how to repack and store your opened container of Flex Paste so that it lasts longer. I find it refreshing that the company encourages their product to last. Overall I think this product is fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had bought flex seal in the past. I've been using flex tape for quite some time now. Flex paste is the exact item I needed. I had used this as I would for spackle paste. I had small holes that needed to be repaired & waterproof. This did both. Its super easy to work with, clean up was simple, and it seems to be working like a charm. I haven't tried it on a big project yet, but so far, this stuff is a gem.

This item is absolutely one of the messier products I have ever used. Those commercials really do sell you a dream. Sad to say this didn't work for me on slightly damp pvc pipe. All I did was make a huge mess as if I was 3 years old again.

I also wanted to seal the gaps around windows to protect against weather. I tried Flex Paste and it’s great. I love that it’s easy to use and once it dries it’s flexible. I appreciate that I can paint over it. This paste created a very tight seal around our windows keeping the cold air out. I also used this around our tub. I can use Flex Paste on multiple surfaces like wood, glass, tile, concrete and so much more. I’ve used this on concrete to seal settling cracks. I’ve actually already recommended this to my friends. Flex Paste will now be a regular product that we will be using for DIY and small household repairs.

It was easy to use and dried nicely! Since it was a spare bathroom, it gave the seal enough time to dry without my kids messing with it. I used a putty knife and it worked perfectly, I had no problems. I also used it around my sink,It looks great! Great product in my opinion.

The open pot style container makes it easy to get a putty knife into for larger jobs. We used this to seal a leak on the rood of a camper.. Alls good now as it certainly did work exactly as advertised; no more leaky camper!! Great product and we will definitely get more!

The gutter was nit dry and I was skeptical it would work but it did and works great. I even look for a reason to repair other leaks in the gutters but all are holding well even in the cold cold weather. Love it and will likely need more to have on hand. Thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] FLEX PASTE in the tub is a very handy thing to have on hand. It works great at sealing things and keeping water in or out. However, it is a mess to use and apply well. It is tricky to get it to go where you want it, since it sticks to everything. Once it does get applied though it works wonders. We used it to seal a crack in our basement and no more water. Plus it dries fast!
