Just moved into a new condo. All non-recessed lights were just a bare bulb screwed into a basic socket. Bought several expensive light fixtures to replace all the bare bulbs, except one that illuminates our basement stairs. It’s located on a vertical wall. So I bought this bulb as a replacement. It’s big enough to hide the basic socket and provides good illumination of the stairwell.

Ordered 8 of these online, all were delivered intact. I got them for a sputnik fixture where the bulbs are exposed. These are nice and big, which is what I wanted, and white (not at all clear, so you can't see the filament). Also, there's no writing on the bulb that's visible. I have them on a dimmer, and the dimming is smooth without flickering. For scale, the fixture in the photos is about 30" wide. Very satisfied!

Looks great in the fixture we had installed; see for yourself. I also like the fact it's like a 100 watt bulb brightness wise but it only uses 11.4 watts, that's great, Maurice.

As a surprise while I was away, my husband hired an electrician to install a new light fixture in my studio, with the added benefit of a dimmer switch. When I got home and tried to dim the light it flickered while not turned up to full power. I said, “Oh, that’s not a dimmable bulb.” Now you tell me it is! Well, it doesn’t act like one. Since it’s nice and warmly bright, I gave it three stars but took off the two because it doesn’t dim properly.

The bulb works fine. It’s brighter than our previous one, but this was the only wattage available. The store attendant was very helpful in using a large metal ladder to pull the bulb off an unreachable upper shelf.

The bulb lights up the space and is great

This bulb dims more smoothly with my electronic dimmer switch than any other energy efficient light bulb I have tried.

LED 100 watt equivalent dimmable bulb: The shape is like a white globe bulb and is perfect for my old hanging faux Tiffany light over the kitchen table. Very happy with my purchase and the delivery. Bulb arrived when expected and in working order. Thank you Home Depot.

Unfortunately the glass at the base of the bulb is wider than the incandescent. As a result, it wouldn’t fit in my vintage lamp. Huge disappointment! I ended up returning them.

Replacing the hallway bulbs in our apt with LED. This bulb is bright and lasts a long time.

Upon installing the lamp the globe broke free from the base, I did not over tighten, then had to be careful removing lamp base from socket. Home Depot did however refund my purchase. I do know how to install lamps as I have been an electrician for over 40 years, and have some experience with lamp installation. It was probably just a flaw that got past quality control.

This is a light bulb; it does what it is supposed to do. It provides light in our dining room. Okay?

Bought 3 bulbs. First one burnt out in about 2 days, second one replaced it and is still going after a few weeks. I will be returning the first one used.

Flickered when switched on. Returned
