The only issue I have had is with short lengths of railing sections (9 or 10 “). If you choose to use one baluster the opposite sides of the railing will show the holes for the other balusters a little. If you choose to use two baluster spacing on a short section of railing the mounting brackets will hit into the baluster preventing proper placement of the mounting bracket. You will be forced to lcut the tip of the mounting bracket off which in turn you will loose one screw hole.

Good product, but packaging is not very good. There are lots of scratches on the finish of the main pieces, even though they were in the undamaged plastic wrap. This was the same on the straight rails I purchased. The customer is happy, but I will choose a different product next time

Great railing system- reasonably priced too.

A little pricey since it is three times longer than I needed for a single step railing. I could have used the left-over railing and elongated the post holes if the brackets were available separately

I had been concerned about the condition of my all wood railing which I designed and installed on a small deck 12 years ago. It needed a new paint job... again ,but I noticed the wood in full sun was not going to like being painted, or the paint wouldn't like the wood. I shopped for a solution and found the Fiberon kits at Home Depot. Install was very easy and looks great. No more painting!!

Great product and very durable

Some of the rail kits don’t come prepackaged with the rail clips to mount rails to the post, the 4x4 stair post inserts don’t fit the standard post sleeve. To brands where mixed in with another brand. Home Depot and the composite companies need better information if you buy certain items you need other and not to mix unlike brands.

I would have given the rating five stars but after installing two sets of stair rails and seeing that they weren't able to meet the angle of the stairs , they get three stars. I had to search on the Fiberon website to see if there was any limitations on the angle this set of stair rails could accommodate. Sure enough , after searching a little bit , I found that this particular model ( regency) could accommodate 30° - 36° . The stairs I was working on was 40 ° . It would be beneficial and much less frustrating if this was on the label of the package in plain sight , not buried in the technical writings on Fiberon's website. I am a carpenter of 35 years and I made them work in my particular case. I don't know how the average homeowner would have made this work , if at all.

This is a good product, but Fiberon needs to be called out on the sub-quality screws they supply. Over and over again, even with fresh points, the Philips head would strip out. Very aggravating. No need to skimp on screws!

Product is OK but could me much better. Cutting with a good chop saw and it still chips finish sometimes. Brackets to hold rails are cheap and weak, they should be metal this would help draw rail closer to post as it is now plastic just bends, very poor connection. There really should be sleeve connections to account for mistakes or just expansion and contration, butt joining is horrible wat to connect rails. And if there is a difference between top and bottom rail…how can you tell. Bottom rail should be much stronger than top rail.

This railing was easy to assemble and very beautiful style.

Much more difficult to install then expected, and stair railing kit was no different then rail kit with the exception of the hinges. Not very good instructions

We chose this railing system because it was in stock. It does not offer covers for installation hardware which provides a sleeker finish. Installation instructions were easy to follow. There are multiple you tube videos available, and will be helpful for installing the stair railing.
