Our post sleeves are designed to be low maintenance, eliminating the need to paint. We do not advise painting as it will void the product warranty.
what type of cement works on these? PVC cement?
Thank you for your question. Yes, a PVC cement can be used to attach the post caps if you wish them to be permanent, but if you think you may want to upgrade the caps at a later date, then silicon can also be used that will allow the caps to be removed later.

Does it come in black?

What is the inside dimension? I want to buy square tubing and cover with vinyl. Is the net ID 3 1/2”?

The 4" measurement is outside to outside.
Do the Veranda led solar post cap lights fit this post?
Our Fiberon ArmorGuard post sleeve has an outside to outside dimension of 4" x 4". We advise consulting the manufacturer of the Veranda solar post cap for their product dimensions.
Product thickness says 4 inches. What is the thickness of the vinyl? It can't be 4" thick.
