I purchased this for the simple fact that it is more compact and I wanted it mostly for vacuum sealing jars. Well, the tubes do not fit. I purchased it for nothing.

We bbq a lot and buy in bulk and this machine really helps to vacuum seal all my food to store in the deep freezer. It is very sleek and doesn’t take up much room on the counter or when stored in the cabinet. The buttons and levers are basic and straight to the point. Everything has worked flawless each time. It vacuums great, cuts great, and operates great. I haven’t had any issues. The bags used are thick plastic that don’t rip or tear either. I’ve used this constantly for weeks and no issues so far. Easy to wipe clean too. The green suction drip tray is removable also, I thought that was great because it gets yucky. Overall this is a great appliance to have in any kitchen and budget friendly too. Even replacing the bags don’t cost too much. I love it.

We have the older bigger version that we used to seal up my husband's homemade fresh flavored bacon! Now with the smaller version, we won't have to store it in the pantry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seals great. Sucks out all air so the food freezes for a year. No frost bite, very easy to use, and small storege needed for when it's not in use. Great way to food prep for family portions instead of freezer bags. Extremely easy to use. Just need to push two buttons after you close the lid.

After a few occasions where I had to throw meat away due to freezer burn because the store packaging was inadequate, I decided to try out a vacuum sealer. It's amazing. It's not only small and compact so that it fits nicely in my cupboard (not sitting on a counter taking up space), but it's light weight as well. It's pretty self explanatory, so it is super easy to use even if you have never used one before. I had a packet of chicken vacuumed and sealed within 60 seconds! I love that I can pre-portion my meat, vacuum seal it and store it in the freezer for when I need it. I will absolutely be using this for all my bulk meat purchases in the future and I'm certain it will come in handy for other items as well.

Great product, compact and easy to use. I have a larger one and got this one for camping and traveling works flawlessly. I like that it has a accessory port. I highly recommend this product and all of the food saver products

Not only is the size perfect for the counter and doesn't take up a huge amount of room to store, it re-seals bags like cookie and potato chip and cereal bags perfectly without struggling to get it situated just right in order for it to seal. 1st try always works. Which is a LOT more than I can say for our old one. We always had issues with it. What a great way to keep foods fresh without them going stale it using chip clips everywhere. The vacuum feature also works terrific. No more freezer paper or freezer bags It's a little on heavy side but that has no bearing to me. It's certainly well made and I don't foresee it breaking. Extremely quiet also. Awesome product!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So easy to use,vacuum and seals in seconds. Comes with a starter kit ( bags and sealer roll). I started with my fruit and ended with my poultry. I will be purchasing accessory for my Tupperware. Even kept my half of avocado from turning brown, so excited!

I bought the recommended handheld attachment through the link on the page for this machine. The instructions tell you to "pry the plug out of the machine with a butter knife" It doesn't come out. Using different tools remove the plug, the plug only comes out in pieces. And the surface around the hole becomes marred and scratched. The instructions show the hose only going into the machine. The hose does not come off the green plug/clip. The green plug/clip is too small for the hole. * Now I have a machine that doesn't work, is scratched up, and a handheld device for who knows what product.

I bought this a week ago after my last food saver broke. I emailed the company and asked for help, but I now know these are disposable machines. The counter top one lets air back in when sealing. It would be cheaper and easier to use a ziplock bag. I could at least then press out most of the air. So disappointed. Looking for other brands that last longer.

I have a family of 5 and be conscientious on how I store or freeze our food very important. The food sealer has helped me be able to seal my food per meal type and properly store left overs for freshness. Not to mention this product has made it much easier to meal prep and seal fruit per shakes. The sealer is user friendly, has an intuitive control panel and features a seal & vacuum indicator light, accessory port, lock latch, upper and lower gasket, an extra wide sealing strip and removable dripping tray. It also comes with a generous amount of seal bags. Overall, the product proves to be an extremely helpful and useful piece of kitchen equipment and definitely something every food enthusiast should own. I highly recommend this product.

But I was having such a hard time wrapping and sealing opened food. This is very easy to use and space saving Sufficient. I truly am grateful for this product.

I bought this as a vacuum sealer food saver ,however it does not vacuum seal at all ...if I need to buy the correct accessories please show me them I have registered my unit tried to get a warranty but your online system isn't very helpful with anything doesn't even show part nu.bers so you can match them to correct unit...it's possible and stressful I just had my whole spine replaced literally and don't have time or money being disabled and on a fixed income to fuss with a unit that if it's suppose to be a vacuum sealer food saver but it's not untill you try it then after hours of searching you have to purchase accessories and special bags and so on....just wish people selling to others were not allowed to be deceitful it's just wrong...so after all that complaining can you help me with the helpful and correct accessories I will need to make this unit work because it does not vacuum seal as advertised ....please help

I bought this 2 to 3 months ago and would NEVER buy another one. I bought 2 before that (different models) and can't decide which one is worse! I love the type of appliance but it would nice if it worked. Works good when you first use it but then not at all.

This is our first Foodsaver Vacuum Sealer.that we bought. We are learning how to use it by trial and error. The first time we did not enough room for the vacuum and sealer to do its job right.

This Foodsaver is just the right size for me, easy to use and takes up little space, I live alone in a small apartment for the disabled.I can prep and seal fresh garden vegetables to have in the winter. It save money on the food bill

I had a FoodSaver from 30 years ago and wanted a smaller replacement and this fit the bill. Compact and easy to use.

Small but great unit. Have a large vacuum sealer, but wanted unit that was smaller.

I tried getting the attachment and followed the instructions from FoodSaver answer about the handheld attachment for reusable bags, it does not work. I’d just like to know which one is actually compatible!

What a fantastic gift..,,and yes it really sucks….eliminates all the air from our sealed leftovers….especially like to buy large packages of meat, split them up and store in the freezer for small meal packs!

Not sure I missed it or not but I would think when I ordered the Foodsaver it would’ve come in a gift like package not a plain brown packaging box.

I waited a long time before buying a food saver. I’m glad I finally but the bullet and bought one. It’s amazing. No more throwing out frozen food that has freezer burn.
