[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The FoodSaver vacuum sealer is so simple to use. It vacuums and seals so easily, plus it is compact not taking to much room up on my appliance filled counters. I love being able to keep my food fresher longer. With food being as expensive as it is we all need to conserve where we can. The one downside I didn't like was you can only use the 8" rolls, quart, or pint sized bags. You can attach a hand-sealer kit to this and use it with the fresh containers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This FoodSaver is so awesome. Easy to open, easy to follow directions, easy to use. Within 5 minutes I was already vacuum sealing my first item -- carne asada! It's very simple to use, basically 2 buttons (vacuum and seal) which light up so you know when it's done. I always wondered if I really needed one of these, but now that I've used it 5 times in a week I know the answer is everyone needs one. I love it! Highly recommend.

I had never used a vacuum sealer before, but instructions are very clear and I had it working in minutes. I love the size, as I don’t have a ton of kitchen space. I used it for food saving, but also tried it for my Sous Vide, since it was advertised for it. It worked perfectly for my filets! Very happy overall.

With this airtight seal our meat last longer, our vegetables do and one of the best things is you can vacuum seal herbs and such with a steak and have a extremely flavorful cut of meat when you open it up again. I love the space saving feature, just put it into the cabinet when I'm done instead of it being too much on the counter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This FoodSaver vacuum sealer does not take up a lot of space on the countertop. It's small and convenient. It comes with 1 roll (8x10) and 5 (1 quart) of vacuum seal bags to get you started. The one thing I didn't like about this sealer is it doesn't seem to seal as tight as my bigger FoodSaver. I don't know if my meat hadn't froze enough before I started sealing. I've only used it once, so I'll have to try it again. Also, the instructions weren't quite that clear. Apparently, it seems it's not made to store a lot of food at once.

It came with everything I need to get started and it's super easy to use. I'm a lot more conscious about what I eat, so this will help me with my meal prep. Not wasting food and especially certain produce is a big thing for me. This Food Saver is going to be so helpful. And the plus is, it's not all big and bulky and easy to store. Also matches my kitchen decor!!

This thing is great. It works so well that I have decluttered my freezer (from lots of packaging) AND my drawer with my old storage containers in it. I'm very happy with this product. It comes with everything you need and so simple to use. I'm not exactly always savy with figuring out how to use things but this was amazingly easy and useful! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this machine. Not only is it compact so it fits in small spaces, but you can store it easily in a cupboard without it taking up much room. It is definitely not something I would use every day, but I use it for separating large quantities of meats and fruit combinations for smoothies. I love that it comes with some sealer bags because I feel that you get a general idea of what sizes you will need when re-ordering some more bags. I do wish the length was a bit longer for larger meats. I have already recommended this to my mom, she lives on her own but cooks for 3-4 people and really needs something that she can put into 1-serving size to save for later.

The FoodSaver has been amazing for us as we can perfectly seal, freeze, and save everything from chicken and steaks to handmade hamburgers and meatballs for use whenever we're ready.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the vacuum sealer is very easy to load/use and works really well. I use it to seal steaks that are about to go in sous vide bath, which turns out to be a bit small. Anything larger than 16oz would need a wider vacuume sealer.

This is a time and money saver. It is easy to operate the machine and align the bag for precise seal and suction. Mine came with five Quart sized reusable bags, and an 8 inch wide roll that you can adjust the length on.

This space saving design is a great feature of the little guy but with all of the sealing power of my bigger one. It also has the port for vacuuming sealing containers that you can buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only got to use it a couple of times before it just stopped working. It doesn’t suck all the air out of the bags and it wouldn’t heat up to seal them. It’s very disappointing, was really looking forward to a new vacuum sealer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works pretty well. It certainly keeps me from wasting all the water I was using to push the air out of my Zipper locked freezer bags. I'd have to run a sink full of water and hold the bag of food under water and zip the bag without getting water in the bag. This is a lot easier. The only downside I have on this is it's slow to seal and the vacuum attachments and containers come separate from the vacuum sealer kit.

The appliance is also very small itself, so it doesn't take up too much space. Since I live alone, it's a fine size for me & what I need to store.

It uses 8" rolls of bags and can seal ready made pint or quart bags. If you are sealing a few small items such as burgers or fish fillets it will serve you well but if you want to seal larger items like big steaks or chuck roasts you will need to get the larger versions. It seals well every time and is easy to use.

I was not sure what to expect, but I had hopes that it would help keep my food fresher longer, and save me from wasting food and money. To be honest, one reason that I had not tried one sooner is the size and storage space. This model FoodSaver vacuum sealer has a space saving design. It is compact and does not take up much space on the counter when using it, or in the cabinet when storing it. It was easy to figure out even though I had never used one before. I am Italian and always prepare more food than we can eat. This food sealer allows me to seal and store leftovers without them losing their fresh taste. I was also throwing away a lot of fresh produce, but by using this product I can keep produce fresh longer. It is easy to use. Place your food in the bag leaving at least 3 inches of space at top of bag. Open your sealer and place the open end onto the channel. Close the lid, latch it and press the vacuum. Since our kids are grown, and there is just me and my husband, this smaller unit has been perfect for us.

Now that I have used the Food Saver, we are able to keep meat for much longer in our freezer, compared to just regular freezer bags we were using. This is very important to us, because no one likes to throw food away. I liked that it came with extra bags to use. It’s really quite simple to use, and my husband and I actually look forward to using it! There is a built bag alignment, ensuring a good seal. Another great feature is the removable drip tray, to catch excess liquid. Having a smaller kitchen, I am very happy that the food saver does not take up much space on my counter! This product is amazing and a must have for every family! Not only will you save money, but there are so many foods that you can keep fresh for longer!

Easy to figure out and operate and if you've never used one, the instructions are easy to understand. The easy-out trough for excess liquids makes cleaning simple as well. We even blanched and froze summer squash. Really handy product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve actually owned a vacuum sealer prior but with a small kitchen we could not give up the space for the product. This new space saving vacuum sealer is half the size of our original one and is easily stored away when not using. I recently used the vacuum sealer to repackage some bulk chicken and before that I purchased to put away on our freezer and this thing works like a gem. The vacuum sealer maybe smaller but works just as good. This is easy to use and well made and I can foresee being used weekly during our meal prepping.

Plus the bell peppers and other veggies I can prepare then seal them and they can just be ready for use love this product. Only thing would be that yes it adds time to my putting away things but it is truly worth the extra time

I am looking for a Food Saver device with the port to plug in the jar sealer attachment. I dont need an expensive one , just one that will perform what I need . thanks sharon

I bought this model after my old one just wore out and I really have been sorry. Half the time it won't seal after the first bag. I can't locate a manual or trouble-shoot site for it. I'm ready to throw it in the garbage.
