I put it in my moms bathroom and it was great for her to get in the shower. It is very sturdy.

So far, so good! It's installed in my shower, but, sadly, I'm STILL waiting for my contractor to finish my bathroom!! It looks great and is installed very securely, so I'm pretty sure I'll love it. Unfortunately, I've been under construction for more than 2 months!!

If you want just a basic grab bar of this size and you're on a tight budget, this is perfect. There's nothing fancy about it like those from the name brands such as Moen and Delta, but it's well made and solid and just a fraction of the price of those name brands. Why doesn't Home Depot have these available in their stores? Why are they only available online? Obviously, there's a bigger profit margin on the name brands!

It was easy to install, quality was good, it would be nice if it was made in USA.

It was just as we expected.

Great product. However there are 2 "back tabs" sticking out from under the flange. Does not look very "classy". Otherwise a great product. We are very pleased with it.

It is clean, sleek and strong. A good value.

I like the shorter ones, but most stores don't carry them, that's why I order them on line. They serve the purpose and don't take up as much room.

These are perfect for the area I needed to place them. The installation was easy and they are very sturdy. The only thing I would do different is get some longer bars, I can do that any time. Thanks!

I bought these to mount vertically to a post ~ one up high, one down low and one in between, to loop versa tubes (like exercise bands) through them for exercising. I needed something that would not stress the bands and these works great. I wished they had 6" ones but these were the smallest ones I could find for cheap. They are great quality and very sturdy and work very well. 4 stars only because I wanted smaller ones and they were not to be found. Anywhere.

The Bar was easily installed. Has sufficient strength to lift a 350# individual. The appearance is adequate for a formal bath. I appreciated the rapid delivery.

My husband needed another grab bar in the bathroom and had very specific ideas of what he wanted and would not take anything less. The customer service rep handled him very kindly . We had to order it as the local store did not have the size he wanted. Didn't take long to receive it and Tom is a very happy camper!!!

Easy installation. Just use proper wall anchors.Will help with getting in and out the tub.

This product is excellent quality and was so easy to install.

Finding a 12" grab bar that looks decent in your bathroom is a tough task--most are longer. If you just want a small grip-able area, this works nicely and is small enough it doesn't become a focal point. I searched a number of sites and this one was the nicest looking one I found that matches up with the existing "L" shaped bar I put in last month. As the "L" shaped, longer grab bar is on the right side of the tub, I wanted a smaller, complimentary one for the left. This petite but sturdy bar has lots of anchor holes for some rather beefy (included) screws. This means you can anchor it with several screws in different pre-drilled holes allowing you to hit wall studs in multiple places. It has "caps" to conceal the screws which give it a finished look. They clip on with a slight twist and a little pressure and slide off as easily if you need to paint. I would recommend pilot holes. A Phillips screw driver bit in a small drill should work and a standard level to establish plumb to install are the major tools required. Safety is important but we ladies also want our bathrooms to be a little classy. The stainless steel finish blends well with my nickle brushed finish towel racks and unless you looked really close you wouldn't be able to tell--if you're in my bathroom that long, I will probably worry if you're OK in there. I have bought other Franklin Brass products and that was a factor in selecting this one. The finish cleans up well.

I am completely happy with this bar, which I had professionally installed. I am most happy about the fact that the screws do not show. This was not a DIY project for me, but I am sure someone with the least amount of expertise and appropriate tools could install this.

I thought the 3 1/2" screws provided were a bit over-doing it. My installation was into a built-in cabinet made with 3/4" plywood so I had to purchase my own screws. Even with these shorter screws it is very sturdy.

More installation options than previous grab bars that I've installed. Also, all installation screws were provided in package.

PURCHASED THIS GRAB BAR SO MY WIFE HAD SOMETHING TO HOLD ON TO WHEN SHE DID HER EXERCISES IN THE POOL. WORKS GREAT AND HOLDS FAST ALSO LOOKS GOOD.

Nice blended radii from flange to grab area. Easy to grab and comfortable to hold on to. Flange covers give the appearance of a nice finished look.
