[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this laundry center to replace Frigidaire front loading washer and dryer in my office. Those units lasted 12 years of heavy regular use! But I was beginning to have difficulty bending over to load and unload the washer. I was happy that Frigidaire had a laundry center with a top loading washer. I have been using for a month and am pleased with the quality. I am looking forward to many years of service again.

Would definitely recommend this to anyone very efficient machine. It washes well I wash almost daily family of 6 lots of loads and so far so good. Noise is not too loud and dryer is fast and efficient

I was concerned that it was a stackable thinking I would lose quite a bit of machine capacity. However, I have been pleasantly surprised as it is roomier than my previous full size washer and dryer. I like the extra settings and the dryer is very efficient - one cycle and done.. I would have liked to have a fabric softener dispenser, so I'll shop to see if I can add that.

Install went smoothly and everything has been working and functioning properly. I'm still getting used to all the beeps and alerts when a wash or dry cycle has finished, but overall I am happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace the best washer/dryer I ever owned (Frigidaire Electric FRONT LOADING washer/dryer combo) and thought the top loading washer would be just as good. The front loader was essentially silent and worked very well. The top loader is the noisiest machine I’ve ever used in the last 55 years.

Bought Kenmore version of this and broke down a lot needed to be replaced after 1 1/2 years. Bought this version and having to replace mater control board a second time - I have extended warranty. My house has a laundry closet that only accommodates a stacked laundry center. I LOVE the size for a family of 5, but there a a couple of problems other than breaking down and requiring multiple service calls. 1) No dedicated spin cycle- how many functions do I never use but I can’t have a cycle to get an extra spin for bedding or towels. 2) No 2 or 4 hour delay start. This is a common function on every dishwasher on the planet. My wife takes a bath at night before bed and I don’t want to run the wash before her bath and want a delayed start of the wash to go in the night. I think a 6 hour delay would be great so the clothes can go straight to the dryer in the morning without sitting damp for several hours.

The washer will not spin or takes multiple cycles to spin and rise. Electric and water bill will be impacted. I have had to hand wring my clothing before placing in the dryer on several occasions.

I expected I would have to sacrifice a bit on the quality and capacity in exchange for convenience. I was pleasantly surprised to find I was wrong on both counts. This unit is as sturdy, quiet, and as efficient as any washer or dryer I've ever owned. And I'm 66 years old, so I've owned a few! You will not be disappointed.

Programming and beeping is a bit odd, and the water stops when you open the lid, so you can't rinse your detergent cup out. But it does a good job.

But it clanks, especially when trasitioning to rinse and spin cycles. Not a major deal, but it's certainly noisier than my old one. Bottom line? The clothes come out clean.

I bought this on May 7th, 2030. It has never worked! I haven’t been able to return or exchange it or get it repaired.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple of months ago, I like the washing options. Spin cycle when using “bulky” option is extremely loud. Otherwise it’s great combo.

We bought a new condo recently with this unit installed. It worked perfectly for two cycles (although I did notice the constant beeping-- annoying that it doesn't stop until you open the door) and now keeps shutting down mid-cycle and giving an error message. I've tried everything, and will now need to call customer service. The unit is relatively new and was clearly expensive, so this is really disappointing, since new appliances were a big draw for us. I've mostly bought Whirlpool in the past and, in the past 15 years, have never had a problem with their washers or dryers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this unit to replace a Frigidaire model that had no agitator which I hated. This one washes great and leaves the clothes almost dry. I love all the wash options since my clothes are not really that dirty. I also like that you can stop the cycle to add something and it not be a giant ordeal. Noise is not a factor since it is in a bathroom and I don’t stay in there while it is washing. Honestly I haven’t noticed it being noisy. Very pleased with my purchase!
