I came home tonight to find my kitchen flooded. My cabinets are swollen and damaged. After doing some quick research I have discovered this rubber elbow is a known problem causing customers thousands of dollars in damage to their homes. My dishwasher is only 3 years old and it’s pathetic that GE installed such an inferior part. And worse that they haven’t recalled these dishwashers as more and more people have their kitchens flooded. I along with many other customers deserve an apology and compensation

Very dissatisfied with this product. Installed in January of 2021, it is now March 2024. We already had to have the top rack assembly replaced due to rusting. The bottom rack is now rusted. Dishwasher pods will not release out of the door/tray area. Dishes are coming out dirty and making a loud vibrating noise. The elbow hose split open, allowing water to soak through our solid hardwood flooring, into our island cabinets and down through the ceiling of our finished basement. We have water damage and a large mess to clean up. This product has been nothing but problems.

I purchased this dishwasher in July 2020. As of fall 2023 it is LITERALLY falling apart. Things that do not work or are falling apart: The wheels for the racks have fallen off and then get stuck in the drain. The third / top rack, has become unhinged on one end. The actual racks, the wire pieces are rusting. The control panel - the label is coming completely off. I had to tape it on .... and on again. I will literally never buy a GE appliance again, we redid our kitchen and made the stupid mistake of buying all of their "profile" line. Needless to say, unless it was free I would say run away. Also, as I am writing this - I cannot even submit photos of this atrocity. Shame on you GE.

The door steel is very thin and easy to dent. It is however very quiet, cleans reasonably well.

1 year and 11months in and the unit stop draining. Also discovered that the spinning sprayer at bottom was not screwed in properly resulting in the sprayer being melted when in contact with the heating element. Apart from this, the cleaning effectviness is inconsistent.

When it works, great! But, I had a hose on the bottom split. Then it caused the drain pump to fail

2nd time this dishwasher has leaked within 4 months. 2nd time I will have to pay thousands to get my floors replaced. First time around the pump motor leaked because it originally didn't come fitted with the "pump isolator" rubber piece which caused it to sag and over time the rubber elbow piece ripped. Now 4 months later from that leak I had another leak. Upon inspection it turns out the seal around the heating element is failing. Then to my surprise the original heating element that it came with is no longer being made and a replacement model is being used. It's no wonder because the original part was just the heating element with a rubber seal that's supposed to hold with the plastic nut from the back. There was no metal part that you can see from the inside that would help "sandwich" the seal and the plastic nut - The new version of the heating element has it. They probably got lots of complaints about it failing. I got all GE Profile appliances in my newly built home in 2020. I hope the other things last a bit longer than 2 to 3 years.

This dishwasher has stopped working after only a few years. Pieces have fallen off the frame and now it just turns off after 5 minutes. Poor quality

We purchased this dishwasher a few years ago. It does a mediocre cleaning job. Our main complaint is the shoddy manufacturing of the lower compartment. The wheels are constantly falling off the bottom rack, and falling into the dishwasher and then melting. The rack constantly falls off the track as well. I would not recommend this dishwasher.

Horrible product bad design of lower spray arm. Something goes wrong with this dishwasher daily. Currently on sixth lower spray arm design is very poor. Wish we never purchased such junk.

This dishwasher matches great with already existing appliances. We love the features and hope to get many years of service from it

We weren't originally going to get this but it was part of a black Friday sale and the last one. I am SO glad we ending up with this dishwasher instead. If you've never had a top rack, you need this. If you don't want 5 million baby fingerprints showing, you need this (coming from a mom of 1 year old twins), if you want sparkly, dry, clean amazingness.... you need this. I will recommend this to everyone looking for a dishwasher because this thing is a beauty.

Quieter operation, really clean dishes, dry boost is a plus we are happy.

Biggest piece of garbage I’ve ever purchased. Designed to utterly fail! Out of the box it was falling apart and has been a complete disaster for the last few years. Make sure you order plenty of extra rack roller assemblies and sprayer arms that melt from the heat coil in the bottom. Oh and the stainless cap that’s supposed to mitigate that problem just conducts the heat and melts itself off and then destroys the sprayer arm. Door trim came off within days of install. Glued it back on several times. Don’t waste you time with this company anymore.

Dishwasher is super quiet! I would have rated higher but I expected the bottom rack to feel more sturdy. It doesn’t seem to hold as much as my last dishwasher either. The top rack does have an option to raise / lower it but it is clunky. I would recommende the ability to have multiple heights .

Very nice dishwasher. Super quiet. Control panel Out of view so looks sleek. Love the 3rd top rack and adjustable middle rack for those taller glasses or pans. Love the bottle blaster feature , useful for cleaning the Nutribullet cups. So far I’m loving it!

Love our new dishwasher! The 3rd drawer is a great bonus, and the black stainless is sharp looking.

Purchased 3 years ago, and 2 different parts have broke and resulted in damaging our brand new cabinets. Each part that failed was due to GE's decision to cut cost by using poor quality components made out of low quality rubber.

Unit is as quiet and cleans as advertised. Has 3 racks which holds more dishes!

The dishwasher does a great job getting those dishes clean! We like the adjustable top rack. One thing, the other day we couldn’t start our washer and our handbook did give us any trouble shooting tips. We researched online our issue, after about 20 minutes of trouble shooting, we finally solved the problem. One of us must have touched a button too long and put the appliance into a lock mode. Other than that, it has worked like a gem.

Worst dishwasher ever!!!!!! GE profile dishwasher. Constantly coated in black mold on racks, door, walls. I have had it serviced professionally, I clean it regularly, I leave door propped open, I followed all suggestions in manual. I want my money back. I spend more time cleaning the dishwasher than I spend washing the dishes.

Quite and versatile space to handle all types of pots, glassware, silverware, etc, at the same time. I also like the sleek set of controls and clean front of unit.
