Love the ceramic cooktop even though I was leery.
This is my first ceramic cooktop and I was a little leery but I actually really like it. I was impressed that the rest of the cooktop stays cool when the burners are on and the control are clear. The oven does a great baking job and I have been enjoying baking bread, cookies and meals. Once again, I really didn't think I'l like the ceramic cooktop but I have found it to be much easier to clean than my previous coil cooking elemnets. It also looks very nice as a built in.

Nice Stove
Nice stove. Not fond of the glass to but thats all I could get in a drop in other than that everything works great.. would have given a 5 but screws were missing on the right side of the oven door

Drop in range 36"
This is a very nice basic range. Supposed to be stainless steel but looks black other than the dials and oven handle. It was the only one available to fit in my cabinet. But everything works well!

It is very nice. Love the look of the stove. I like how where the knobs are located it is made of some type of plastic. Very easy to clean around the stove knobs. I had to have a drop in stove because I have short limbs. My husband did have to cut the back of my countertop because the length of the stove but other than that it is prefect.

Fits the best
Generally I like this stove. I don’t particularly like the clicking sound that lets me know that it’s controlling the temperature nor the rattle inside the oven. It looks nice. I’m a little afraid of scratching the glass cooking top. It’s the only oven that I could find to cover the gap between the stove and granite countertop and sits flat on the island. We still need to fix the cabinet below the stove.

Nice clean modern looking stove
I love that I could find another G.E. drop in stove to replace my 37 year old G.E. drop in. There’s not to many manufacturer any more. It has a nice clean compact design to it.

Pleased with our drop-in range!
Our new drop in looks beautiful in the space left by our 40-year-old drop in. The installation instructions were very clear. The stove and the oven both heat up quickly. We like the simplicity of the controls. We can use about half of our old pots and pans, after cleaning the bottoms very carefully.. We're still getting used to a glass cooktop, but t so far so good

Oven works well
Oven works well stove top is fine. A lot of stickers with glue that I cannot get off so the product looks ugly back part arrived vent.

We're thrilled to hear that the range is working quite well. We can understand how unsightly it is to have adhesive left on your appliances. We would like to offer some removal tips. The most effective way to remove adhesive left from film, packing tape, stickers, tags, or labels on new appliances, and to ensure no damage is done to the finish of the product, is to apply one of the following:
Household liquid dishwashing detergent
Mineral oil
Cooking oil
Goo Gone®
Apply any of these methods with a soft, clean cloth and allow it to soak. Wipe it clean with a dry soft cloth. Do not use a plastic pad or equivalent. Wipe the appliance dry and then apply polish to thoroughly clean and protect the surface.
Precautions:
Do not allow the mineral oil, cooking oil, or Goo Gone to come in contact with any plastic parts, especially the inner liner of a refrigerator. These items will destroy the plastic parts.
Do not use Goo Gone on stainless steel appliances unless you have tested it in an inconspicuous area first. In some cases, Goo Gone can discolor or darken stainless steel.

Good fit!
Had an old drop in oven. After about 40 years of service, it needed replacement. Not yet time for complete kitchen remodel. Our new GE replacement was a perfect solution.

Great product and GE Service
I decided to change my white 2003 GE range that still looks like new and functions very well. I changed it for an updated model in stainless steel. I bought the new on online with an excellent experience. It was delivered and installed by excellent employees. I love GE appliances.

Top glass scratches very easily
The first day I used my new range the pots I used scratched the glass surface on 2 of the front burners. I contacted GE and they sent me product to Clean the surface but it did not take away the scratches. Very disappointed. I’m not looking forward to how the glass top will look after only a few years of cooking on it. I used aluminum pots which are recommended & cleaned the surface before cooking on it. I would not recommend this stove at all. Other than the scratches the stove works great.

Touch control
I previously had a Kenmore drop-in range very similar. However, there are great improvements with this range. I love the touch controls. They’re so much easier to operate, & much cleaner. The double-use burner is much easier, safer, & you can more easily determine which one you’re using. MUCH SAFER design!!

A pleasant surprise
This drop-in range replaced a 44-year-old electric coil model. We bought it because it was the only one that would fit into our existing cutout without major renovations. The pleasant surprise is how well it performs. The temps for both the oven and stove top are accurate and consistent. The one thing that had me a little intimidated was maintenance of the glass cook top. However, now that I'm used to the new routine (frequent cleaning with a dab of glass top cleaner after the range has cooled off, using only stainless steel cookware, and not banging the skillet on the range surface when making an omelet), I don't think this is going to be a problem.

Stove review
I like my new stove but it does have a couple of factory poor workmanship. The oven door was no assembled correct which cause the door handle to not tighten down the way it should. Also the insulation stick up at the air hole vents and can be seen.

Good fit, lovely appearance
Wish I'd replaced my original drop-in oven earlier than prior to a house sale. Drop-in oven/ranges are difficult to find. This 30" wide oven was narrow enough to fit the countertop of my 1978 galley kitchen. It uses the space well. I hope to try it out soon.

Very nice looking Range
I’ve never bought GE but I’m very pleased! We purchased GE because it has a lip on the cooktop that sits onto the counter. That worked out wonderfully. The oven cooks beautifully with the times we’ve set so far. I’m still getting use to the top it takes longer than I’m use to heating up, but works great once it’s heated. I’m very happy with my choice!
