This is our first glass top range. My wife and I have been pleased with it until this happened. It was purchased on 10/10/2022 from our local Home Depot store and delivered to our home. There were no issues with Home Depot. We support and are pleased with our local store. After cooking a 10 lb. turkey for our 2023 Thanksgiving meal, the oven would not heat up the next day. I also recall there being a slight electrical odor for a second or so on Thanksgiving Day, but nothing persistent or obvious to others in the kitchen. I checked my store receipt for the date of purchase and read the warranty information which said it was good for 1 year. We are a little over a month out of the warranty period. I tested the safety switches and heating elements and everything was good. I then inspected the control board and saw that one of the relays was burnt at a wire connection point. I researched the cost of a replacement board, they were between $125.00 - $250.00, so I decided to replace the relay. I found a relay for $12.98, unsoldered the bad relay and soldered on the new one. The oven is now working once again. I hope it was just the relay that caused this to happen and not some other issue that led up to it failing. Time will tell. Perhaps GE would have repaired it if I called them and complained since it was so close to the warranty expiration period. This issue might be something they are already aware of. I hope it holds up moving forward. Does not meet expectations. I have used GE appliances in the past and have had good luck with them.

Marks showing up from "under" the glass. At first I thought it was on the surface. And thought it might be the pans I was using . This is not the case.

We’ve always trusted GE products. Have never been dissatisfied ever. Love our new electric glass. Top range.

We now have a new GE Microwave and new GE smooth top range in White which now maker our kitchen like new.

This new GE range is a small upgrade i.e. a few extra features to the GE range that I had for 17 yrs. I have no complaints and like this range. I hope I get 17 yrs out of this new one!

I wanted s stove with basic features. This one is an excellent choice for me. Easy to operate.

Back burner fell down inside within first 3 months. Top glass stains easily and is already showing signs of wear. The stove is under warranty but GE was very difficult to contact re: repair and they are charging a $120 "trip fee" for coming out to repair this stove even though its still under warranty. Very disappointed in GE and I won't be buying another appliance from them after this.

Sets off fire alarm even though nothing burning- oven clean. Top looks dirty all the time. I’d rather have an old electric from the 80s.

2 months in and everything suddenly stopped working. Clock is on but nothing gets hot. Complicated electric issue. Resetting breaker did not fix the issue

Happy with my purchase, easy to clean glass top. I baked chicken in it using bake and then broil at the end and it turned out amazingly delicious. The oven light is bright enough to see inside.

Ge makes great products. We replaced our old ge stove with a new one even though the old one still works we change colors in our kitchen from white to black and wanted the same reliability as the old stove.

These ovens have been a great addition to my Family and Consumer Sciences kitchen classroom! Our district purchased three! The kids love the glass top surface because it is so easy to clean. The black color is sleek, and all of the buttons are user friendly, even for 7th and 8th graders!

Looks like a good model. The description was it was all black but ended up with brushed aluminum control panel.

We purchased this stove in December 2021, did not begin use until March 2022. Glass stove top cracked during cooking October 2023. The product warranty is only one year however a Certified GE Technician confirmed the crack was due to a flaw with the glass. Based on other reviews this is not the first time this has occurred.

I read the reviews that mention the poor quality of the glass cooktop. Once broken a replacement cooktop is 800$. Your protection plan will not cover this. Do not be like me and buy this product thinking it won’t break. We now have a completely unusable cooktop.
