I bought two units. The air quality is fair. The Hose and the Unit is very bulky and you have to empty the water accumulation every 2 days.

The GE 7000 BTU portable air conditioner works O.K for...
The GE 7000 BTU portable air conditioner works O.K for cooling but does NOT do anything for humidity. Set it on dry & it gets cool in the room ( only 150 sf.) but the humidity stays WAY up there. I bought the thing for the purpose of keeping room humidity down -- no luck.
I hooked up a drain hose but nothing ever comes out ???? When I first hooked it up a little water did but then stopped. I know on dry setting it says it will not drain but even on cool -- nothing -- don't know if that is normal or not. Maybe that is why the rooms stays humid ???
Am disappointed for the money -- will change it out for the old one -- smaller but works better.

Worked well to cool unit while main unit was being ordered and installed. Would recommend highly for a temporary fix.

Works great and looks nice
Works like a charm and having a built in dehumidifier is a huge plus. The unit is also very sleek and modern looking which is a nice touch given it has to be out in the open.

Saved us during Hurricane power outage!!!
Along with our generator this portable A/C made all the difference of being able to stay in our home during the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. Worked great!!!

Went back after two weeks
Worked great for about two weeks, I think but it never tracked the temperature in the room as stated in the manual. Itcame with batteries I stalledin remote, which I found odd, Duracell of all things. However, after two weeks or so, stopped blowing cool air. Would blow air for about 5 minutes then quit. Checked water level, empty… no error codes, Just quit… I think someone sold us a bad one that was brought back as the batteries were a clear give away…very odd. Therefore, since never worked right from beginning with temp readings and since it quit working after about two weeks, I have to give it one star. It was very disappointing.

Seems nice, but won't run on any of the circuits...
Seems nice, but won't run on any of the circuits in my apartment - shuts the power down inside 30 seconds of pushing on. Need to return. USPS came to pick up, but didn't knock on the door, so although I was here, they didn't pick it up.

This is a good unit for the money.
This thing really cools down a room, very quickly! The thermostat works--set it at your preferred temperature and it shuts off when that temperature is reached. Not as loud as the last one I owned. It doesn't draw as much electricity as other portable A/Cs.

Nice powerful unit, it cools very nicely.
I purchased this product during the extreme summer of 2021 and units were scarce as a result. I have sliding windows so this type of A/C would install within an hour. It made a miserable summer very bearable for my dog and myself, I should have gotten one far sooner. It blows air with sufficient force that my ceiling fan spins slowly from the breeze. The air filter is just a rinse off type under a faucet. Very well thought out design. The size was adequate for making my home comfortable in the living room.
