Once again, LG lives up to its reputation.
I want to portable air conditioning unit that I could set up and not worry about. Thus, I sought out a dependable name like LG. This product has lived up to its name in its ability to do what it promises. And provide a worry, free experience. It cools the room quickly and efficiently and maintains the temperature on its own. I would hardly recommend this unit to others.

Broke a few months outside of warranty.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was good for a year and then a few months past warranty the intake fan got misaligned (hadn't moved the unit for months) and ended up cutting through the black plastic backing and then broke off a few blades. Now it blows out cold air for a few mins but switches to hot air as I guess it overheats.

damaged and junk
DO NOT BUY! FIRE HAZARD! Just got this today. Holes in box and bottom of the box was wet. Plugged it in and sparks and flames shot out the wall. Im disabled and 81 years old but Home Depot wont take this back unless I bring it to the store. So Home Depot is now selling hazardous items and wont let you return. DO NOT BUY! FIRE HAZARD! This is how it was left at my door as well.

It's a nice smaller size and works well in a small office. More quiet than our expectations which is fantastic (at least on low fan speed)! All parts were included and install was straight forward and easy.

LG A/C unit is efficient and cold!!
I bought this unit less than a month ago and love it for our upstairs kids room. We have our home HVAC but it never can cool the upstairs enough. Issue solved with our new LG. Perfect size and easy to set up!

Air Conditioner works like a Horse

Very impressed
After reading a lot of reviews I decided to take my chances and try it myself. To my surprised it’s has exceeded my expectations, blows very cold air and has worked very well.
Pros : Good price, has wheels, easy installation, and blows very cold air.
Cons: it’s very loud , hose is too wide .

I was hesitant to buy this because of all the reviews saying it leaks. So far, two weeks of use and it's all dry thankfully! But I didn't anticipate another issue entirely – the unit is VERY loud. I can't watch TV while it's on, but I just turn it on while I work and again before bed. However, for the price, it cools pretty well. Just wish it was a bit smaller and quieter.
