The formulation of this product is such that the can will seal itself shut within 2 hours of the initial use. Inserting a pipe cleaner sprayed with oil lubricant into the applicator straw may prolong the life of the product up to 30 days, however, it's better to plan ahead, identify, and list all possible applications before using the can.

The Quick Stop Straw is designed to close when you tap the end of nozzle to allow you to move from one place to another and to prevent foam from dispensing. However, the foam will cure in the can within two hours of initial use due to air and moisture inevitably getting into the can. We have developed a new dispenser called the Great Stuff™ Smart Dispenser™ that allows for greater control and makes the can restartable for up to 30 days after initial use.
