This is the second Gatco product that the mounting hardware has failed. The molly bolts pop right out of the drywall causing large unusable holes that ultimately need to be repaired with spackle. The towel bar itself looks nice, but is also cheap quality. Overall if you like the product, buy yourself better hardware. I’d recommend drywall anchors or toggle bolts. Gatco, please don't respond to my review requesting me to contact your customer support, JUST PROVIDE BETTER HARDWARE.

I wanted a euro-style satin nickel towel rack that fit with the towel and toilet paper holder. Oh, and didn't look too industrial/hotel-ish. Lots of hunting and found this. Super easy to install, looks sleek, and can handle my family's hanging toiletry bags when they visit. (It is mounted in the guest bath.) A very strong four-star rating from me. Five stars would be if the included wall mollies were more Herculean. I have gotten paranoid about weak wall mollies over the years and picked up sturdier mollies (an easy, inexpensive purchase) for this rack for my own peace of mind. Personal Molly preferences aside, I would purchase this towel rack again and recommend it to others.

The shelf itself is a great size and easy to install. My only problem is that I bought it for a space that is 24" across and the brackets make this actually 25". So I had to re-think where it would go. Once I figured out a different place to put it, it went in easily. It is a nice size for towels.

The product arrived on schedual and was well packed and protected. However the holes for the lower bar were drilled/spaced incorrectly. The right vertical tube was forced in and is crooked. Very obvious from first look, example of very poor QC.

Looks great, but not constructed well. There is a little bit of give in each joint, so the lower bars that contact the wall don’t offer any additional stability. Within a few days of use it developed a wiggle which quickly compromised the main mounting points. Will return, and need to fix and repaint my wall.

I purchased this towel shelf several months ago. It looks really nice and functions well, but it makes the bathroom and all my towels smell like some kind of chemical. The smell is definitely coming from the shelf. I’ve washed it several times and covered it with fabric softener sheets about a month ago trying to eliminate the smell, but it’s not working. If I can’t figure out some way to get rid of the smell the shelf has got to go!

It’s nice. But the quality control could be better. The back piece that hooks onto the wall bracket was crooked, so I had to have the wall bracket at an angle. Also, the wall anchors that came with it did not work. I had to punch them through the wall because they got stuck, which required patching and repainting. Don’t use the wall anchors that came with it if you choose to buy it.

The reason for the poor rating is the wall attachments. It is difficult to make them flush to the wallboard without punching them through the wallboard. Yes, it happened. Use a different type of wall attachment. Quality matches price. Nothing to right home about.

Seemed wimpy for the price.

It just snapped today. What else can i say. Bs. And i have no place to return

Easy to install. Very Sturdy and very stylish.

I am sorry to say that this product will not meet your expectations for the price. The finish is fine but the rack does not hang off the wall horizontally even though the lower stand-offs touch touch the wall. There is no obvious way to adjust the rack so it projects level. After the holidays, I plan to try placing thin spacers under the mounting plates to see if that will make the rack level. Tightening the set screws with the allen wrench that is provided is very slow and tedious at one-half turn at a time.

- Great looks and finish- Comes with all required hardware and tools- Be careful with the drywall anchors, I had a few of them not open / spread properly, or the screw started spinning.Overall a great looking product, worth the price.

Looks good and is functional but not as solid/substantial as I hoped. The rack is made of thin tubes, not solid bars. Easy enough to mount.

The bottom legs are longer than the top legs where the screws go in. Don't buy.

The satin nickle finish is excellent, and the quality is superior. Since it is a hotel-style towel rack, there's plenty of room to store extra towels on the top shelf. I also bought an 18" single rod towel rack and a robe hook to match. The set really dresses up our combo laundry/bathroom.

the aesthetics are nice but when properly installed the shelf bent towards the ground (from where the shelf connects to the circle wall mounts) when I put 6 towels on it. I feel it should be able to hold that weight but you get what you pay for.

Installed the rack properly, but once it started being used, hanging a towel and with a few towels on the rack, it started to sag downward and the metal actually bent a little at the end where it connects to the hardware attached to the wall. It looks like a great product and the finish is nice, but it can't handle the force of even a few lightweight towels on it without bending, so doesn't get the job done.

I looked high and far and after reading the reviews I was looking forward to this. It looks great, but unfortunately I was ultimately disappointed. The mounting system is poorly designed with a tiny set screw with a point that goes into a tiny divot on the small mounting bracket. While it looks great, behind the scenes the hardware is shoddily constructed. Within a couple of days with only 2 towels on it, it started drooping and by the end of the week it was at a 30 degree downward angle. I took it down and disassembled it. The bolts that hold it together couldn't be reliably tightened. I ended up using locktite in the hope that would make it stable. No such luck, it loosened in daily use and started drooping again. I came in the other day and found one side loose and off the bracket. The set screw pin just bent and walked out of the tiny divot. It's not like I'm overloading it. There's one bath towel hanging on the lower bat, and one small towel on the upper rack. As I knew the mounting system wasn't great, I've always taken great care not to pull on it or overload it. All in all, quite disappointed.

Nice look and finish. But because of the width of the rack, you can't mount both sides of the rack mounts into standard 16" width studs. I could only use wall anchors in the drywall to mount mine and worry about putting too many towels on top of the rack.
