Very quiet for chain driven. I have purchased 2 of these for both garage doors and I am satisfied.

This unit is much quieter than the chain drive that was replaced. I was able to install it with very little help in about 2.5 hrs.

Wonderful purchase. No complaints

Chain was twisted and could not fix. Returned for a chamberlain belt drive. The directions were extremely confusing.

The Genie Revolution Series replaced a home builder Genie that failed and it is quieter and faster. I wish it had come with the outside control because my older model had one but it had also failed.

My original installation was non standard which causes some minor problems on installing this unit. This 3/4 HP unit replaces a 1/2 HP and I am pleased with the operation. It is a much quieter unit and I like the gradual start and stop. Genie touts their “special” LED bulbs but not needed.

works Great, smooth and quiet.

It is as good or better than expected. My previous garage door opener was 30 years old and it was noisy from day one but it did work for over 30 years. This Genie surprised me with how quite it operates. You hardly know it is moving the door. I don't understand the need for a less noisy belt driven model. I had to buy and add the extension for an 8' door. I wonder why companies don't offer 8' garage door opener options. I won't be around to see if this Genie lasts 30 years.

Not a DIY friendly product because the instructions are as clear as mud. The Home Depot would not install their product.

I have a very large (wide) double door. I had for about 5 years a 1/2 hp opener that was slow and when it was cold did not perform well. It finally stopped working. This new 3/4 has power and is quiet and fast. it was easy to install. I upgraded the angle hardware to install and hold it in place on the ceiling. I do recomend this opener.

I bought this unit to replace a unit that came with the home I purchased. So far, it has been operating smoothly and quietly. Its only been a week since it was installed so we shall see. No issues so far.

Replaced my 20-year old screw drive with this model. Much quieter - I always have to double check that its actually running. So far OK but no long term performance to talk about.

My only complaint is that it doesn't come with an outside keypad. I bought one for the garage door on my wife's side a few years ago and it came with one.

Replaced (nearly) identical unit. Works fine. Home Depot on line purchase and delivery slick.

Bought two of these. One was damaged in shipping. Returned it to Home Depot. Ordered a replacement and they are both installed and work great. Installation is very easy if you have a preinstalled power outlet and ceiling bracket. Remotes can open up to three doors. The range for this unit is great, door opens before I ever hit the driveway. Reliability and longevity are undetermined but I replaced 1/2hp with 3/4hp just because....

Very quiet , One month and working well.

Very good opener for the money quiet easy installation and instructions to follow and programming for the diy person. One downside is that the track is not a one peace, but is still strong. This is the third one I've bought and installed. I like the chain over the belt for long-term use and care is easy. Has light and lock out features on wall control remotes are preprogramed already also. Will buy another one.

Nice opener that is a fairly quiet unit. My other is belt drive and I prefer to be able to hear if my garage door is opening so really prefer the quiet chain drive on this Genie unit.Note - unit does NOT come with an outdoor keypad opener so if this is a requirement for you look for another unit.

Easy to install, very quiet operation way better than the screw drive that I replaced it with.
