Yes- you can put multiple openers on one keypad and have different codes for each opener.
for the screw drive the rail that carries the screw from unit to door how is it configured ie is it one solid piece or slip together sections. if multiple sections how robust is it especially to twisting during use
The rail on the Genie Signature Series 2 HPc Premium Screw Drive opener is not a single solid piece. It consists of three interlocking C-channel rail sections that are joined together with rail connectors, and the screw itself is also assembled in multiple sections. For a typical residential garage door, the rail system is generally sturdy and performs well. The enclosed C-channel design provides more rigidity than older open-rail screw drive systems and is designed to be maintenance-free.
Does it have a pull cord for outage's?
Hi Rhonda - yes, a pull-cord for manual operation is an option for all Genie garage door openers. This unit is also equipped with a battery backup, that automatically kicks in when the power goes out to keep your opener working!
How fast will the #4063B-TKV open a heavy 2 car garage door. I'm replacing my Genie ISD 1000 that no longer works. The 1000 opens very fast and would like to know if this one is that fast.
Hi Joseph - The Genie 4063B‑TKV is a very fast opener and is well suited for heavy 2‑car garage doors. It has a maximum opening speed of up to 12 inches per second, which is about twice as fast as standard belt or chain drive openers. If you’re coming from a Genie ISD 1000, the opening speed will feel very comparable, and in many cases just as fast or smoother, especially on heavier doors. Overall, it delivers strong lifting power with quick, consistent opening performance.
