Ordered this Gladiator Work Bench online and picked it up at the store. It is definitely well-constructed, yet mobile with the wheels which can be locked. Assembly was relatively easy, if directions are followed. Wooden top looks so nice when new, just hope it holds up over the years. Only downside is the bench weighs 119 pounds. Instructions even suggest that two people should be used to turn it upright after assembly. While I think it will meet my needs, HD has a competing product that weighs about half of the Gladiator.

I purchased this as a mobile potting bench for my garage. I was able to put it together all by myself. I used the packing foam inserts to hold up the shelf as I screwed it to the legs. This was so easy!! It is also very sturdy and solid!

Mobile workbench is top notch, but... The workbench is solid and sturdy. Fully assembled, I would guess it weighs over 100 pounds. The legs and casters are top quality. The casters can be temporarily locked into position when you need the bench stationary and unlocked when you need to move the bench. The shelf can only be installed in one location but that location is in line with the leg cross bars. So, if installed as a shelf, the shelf area is 36” wide. But the shelf can also be installed ‘upside down’ so it is more of a tray, which is how I installed it. Assembly was not difficult. However, the two assembly tools are poor quality. I assembled by hand, but the Allen wrench wore out (see photo) before I finished assembly so I had to use my own, higher quality Allen wrench. And the jaws of the open wrench (which is used to install the casters) bent open (see photo and notice how the jaws are no longer parallel) so much I could not use the open wrench to finish installing the casters. While the wood top is hardwood, it is a soft hardwood and dents easily. Just placing a small sledge hammer on the top created dents in the wood. So, if this were a fine piece of furniture, I would be unhappy. But it is a workbench and will get battle scars. I would recommend this bench but be prepared to use your own tools to assemble.

This is a well made product, heavy duty and looks good. Very easy to assemble and is rated to handle weight up to 680lbs. Can be used in the shop or in the house. The casters allow easy movement even when loaded. I am using mine for additional counter space in the kitchen and the height with the casters works great. Bought it before Thanksgiving 2018.

Built like a Sherman Tank - This is ONE HEAVY DUTY WORKBENCH! Assembles in about 5 minutes, not too many pieces or parts, everything goes together in a snap. The legs are in two pieces and bolt directly to the top, add a shelf and 4 casters. It's expensive, but the quality is top notch. You get what you pay for, this cart can handle any project or purpose. I have a drill press mounted on one side, a bench grinder on the other.

I needed something sturdy enough to handle a 300 pound printer, that I use in my art reproduction studio. Since the printer cost $6,000.00, I did not mind spending the additional $300.00 (plus) for this workbench to support it. I was beyond delighted with the quality (& quite frankly the elegance) of this piece. It really is nice enough to use in the most sophisticated settings. Solidly built, with casters that allow it to roll as though it was holding a feather, instead of a 300 pound piece of machinery. One of those times where the reality of the product exceeded the description of the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first mobile workstation that I have used before so I cannot compare it to others like it. I am using this workstation in my garage as a mobile addition to my built-in workbench. I will start this off by saying that the packaging is VERY heavy, I was not home when it was delivered but thankfully my wife was and she was able to have the delivery guy put the box directly into the garage where I would be assembling it. Assembly was very straight-forward and I was able to put it together and flip it over by myself with ease. I have used the workstation while working on smaller wood projects, a storage bench for miscellaneous motorcycle parts while working on my bike, as well as a mobile miter saw bench that I can wheel outside of the garage to keep the sawdust out of the garage. I am very happy so far with this workstation and would definitely buy one. I was not particularly aware of this specific model before receiving it; but I would definitely recommend the Gladiator mobile workstation to others looking for a product like this. Pros: Very Heavy Duty Mobile design allows for numerous applications and uses Locking Wheels allow workstation to remain in place while using it Cons: The workstation that I received had a couple small indents in the benchtop which makes me wonder how brittle it possibly is and makes me a little more cautious while using the benchtop.

Getting the box into the house took some effort, but this thing is built like a tank once put together. It truly stands up to the Gladiator name! Has sturdy swivel wheels so this thing moves smoothly! The hardwood top looks like it will last a very long time. It also has an amazing workstation hold of up to 680 lbs!!! I highly recommend this product and the fact it has a 10 year warranty means I don't have to worry about it breaking down quickly through all my use. This will definitely be put to good use!

I actually was going to give it to my father, he did a lot of handy man work and mechanical work. Now, I'm just not sure what room I'm going to use it in. I highly considered using this as a temporary kitchen island. It's sleek design and durable structure would fit perfectly. It's easy to assemble all the hardware and tools are in the box. Be careful because it's HEAVY!! I highly recommend for mechanics, Carpenters, gardeners, diyers, and Crafters! The wheels roll wonderfully and have large easy to use breaks too!

Great solid table. I thought it was a bit pricey till I received it and I have been happy with it as my mobile work bench that stands pretty solid when the casters are locked and easily moved when I need to move it. overall quality and construction make it work the money compared to my cheaper less then desired options.

I was a little apprehensive about this product because up until this point the extent of my garage workbenches have been sawhorses with plywood tables. I wasn't sure what else you could do to improve something so simple, and then the Gladiator mobile workbench arrived. As soon as I opened the packaging, the quality was revealed: The table top is made out of about a 2 inch thick slab of heavy solid wood; think: butcher block. The legs and shelf are steel painted with a smooth speckled finish. The wheels were heavy and appeared to be reliably constructed. There were no rough or sharp edges; I could tell thought was put into each component. Each piece is constructed with such quality I would expect it to withstand much stress, as is important in a workshop environment. Instructions: The instructions were so easy to understand that I did not have to actually read them; the pictures were very self-explanatory, easy steps to follow along. Assembly: Very easy. I was able to assemble it single-handed in less than 15 minutes. Part of the reason the assembly was so easy, I think, is because all the bolts were exactly the same. No sorting through hardware to find the correct bolt for the correct location. With one type of bolt it was really easy to just grab and assemble. It also comes with one extra, just in case. No tools needed. It came with everything I needed: an Allen wrench to tighten the bolts, and a generic wrench to tighten the bolts of the wheels onto the legs. They think of everything: The box included, and the instructions referred to a piece of cardboard on which to assemble the table face-down, protecting the surface from the rough cement of the garage. Recommendations: Leave plenty of room to assemble this. With all the parts, packaging and cardboard pieces, I ended up taking up an entire car's length in the garage. Also, I recommend two people to assemble. Although it is manageable single-handed, there are times when a second set of hands would have been useful (for instance, when installing the shelf). Also, it is HEAVY so another person to help flip the table when finished assembling will make the process easier (and, it is recommended to do so with at least two people in the instructions). Overall, I am happy with this product. It is very sturdy (it can hold up to 680 pounds) and a good height (kitchen counter height). The thickness of the table is perfect when working with trigger clamps; the legs and body are far enough from the edge of the table that they do not get in the way. The tray-style shelf is a convenient and easy place to put tools, small parts, etc. (and paint cans) without worrying about them sliding around or falling off (it is reversible, so you don't have to install it as a tray; you can have a flat shelf if that better serves your needs). The brakes of the wheels are very strong and take quite a bit of effort to latch on and off, so no worries about the table rolling around accidentally. I like the mobility of it; it is very easy to move myself due to the wheels rolling smoothly; and it is easy to control the movement. The movement is so smooth that I do not have to worry about small parts such as nuts and bolts rolling off in-transit, which is really convenient because I don't have to put away my project to put the table away. Compared to my sawhorses? This is way better.

This Mobile Workbench with Hardwood Top arrived in good time and was well packaged. Be advised it is extremely heavy for it's size. There is a very good reason for the weight. Everything about it is heavy from the solid hardwood top to the steel frame and shelf. The large casters swivel 360 degrees for easy maneuverability on uneven surfaces. My husband renovates antique tractors which sometimes involves removing the engine to rebuild it. This work station holds up to 680 lbs total which makes it perfect for the job. The workstation is sitting down in his shop. He is reluctant to use it because it is much too attractive!! Whirlpool has pulled out all the stops to create a top of the line product. Buy with confidence!

This is a fantastic work bench! It boosts of high quality that will last for several years to come. It is constructed of steel (with a cool hammered finish) and a nice hardwood top. The top seems pretty solid and hopefully won't dent very easily - its so nice, I almost don't want to work on it - but I will :). I love the fact that it has a lower shelf for tool storage (or whatever you want) as well as it having really heavy duty casters making it the perfect, transportable working table - easily maneuverable for any job. The size is perfect for me (townhome owner) but could be a bit small for others looking for a full size work bench. What you sacrifice in size, you make up for in mobility.

This heavy duty cart is amazing. I have a 200lb old CRT television on it, and it works great. Rolls well, love it all around.

The mobile workstation is just what i was looking for. High quality, sturdy and easy to assemble. Liked the fact the middle shelf could be setup as a shelf or a tray--chose the tray. Have been purchasing Gladiator garage storage pieces for over 10 years, never disappointed

This is the third time a package coming to my home through Home Depot using FEDEX as the shipping agent has been lost. Everytime something has to come through the FEDEX Distribution Center at Braselton GA it either gets damaged, delayed or lost. In this case it got lost and I had to get a refund. Same thing happend in January and July 2023. Customer service through Home Depot for getting the refund was easy do cudos on that. Really need to start looking at using another delivery service like UPS they are more reliable than FEDEX.

Love the table but it has some flaws. First, one of the casters isn't stable meaning when in lock position it wobbles and bangs around when working on the table. I'm assuming it's defective. Second, The metal legs were not properly prepped before powder coating. There were so many sharp metal shavings under the coating it instantly cut my hand, just grabbing the legs to assemble it. Third, the table top is a little soft but that's a minor issue.

This is my second rolling work bench. I enjoyed / used the first one that I ordered a second.

Very industrial. The legs on this are super strong. This exceeded my expectations.

I have a bunch of Gladiator Garage storage in my garage. I got this for my table top sandblaster cabinet. Very sturdy, since the sandblaster cabinet with all the sand is very heavy. This table makes it’s easy to move the cabinet with ease.

The cart is in my kitchen—the perfect island. I can roll it out of the way if I want, store items on the shelf, it looks great with hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances and I can use it in my art studio if I ever need to.
