The metal material is a low grade. We decided to add wheels to it for better movement of it and the legs didn’t hold the weight and the legs bent and almost it falled on top of our car.

Sturdy and easy to assemble. Would recommend.

3 weeks after purchase the item arrived. Every looked boxed up like new. It wasn't until I started assembling I noticed markings where the crossbars meet the vertical stands. After further inspection it became clear this rack had been used before as I could tell exactly where the previous owner had put each shelf on the vertical stands. They must have abused it as I can see chipped paint where the two pieces meet and must have rubbed.

Excellent shelving unit, easy to assemble & very sturdy.

After removing the product from the packaging, which was entirely in tact, we found the uprights broken at the welds in several places. It was packaged that way, not damaged after it was packaged. Very cheap looking and disappointing.

So easy to put together and took me like 15min and no tools. So sturdy highly recommended

2 different units both had bad welds on the end pieces. I ordered this on Black Friday because of the sale price. Got it home to assemble it and it had a bad weld on the end piece. I returned it and ordered another. When the second one arrived, it also had a bad weld.

Nice unit for storing lighter to medium weight items with bottom surface area larger than 4” in diameter. Impressed by robustness of frame, shelving rack supports, and simple assembly (no tools required). The shelving racks employ a metal grid/grate design. These could be stronger gauge metal as they bow a bit under heavier weight. Also, the grid/grate design is somewhat widely spaced, so smaller items cannot not sit on the rack, as they will fall thru (see photo for example).

Great product easy install

It is durable but theres a lot of bent parts. This thing is not aligned, so i had to remove the welding bond and realign. It’s kinda annoying to think you would get this quality with the amount you’ve paid.

We had been using plastic shelving in the garage and after a year or so it would start sagging. When we moved we needed more shelving and decided to purchase the Gladiator shelving. Best purchase we could have made... the shelving is very strong, very easy to put together and looks great. My wife and I are both in our mid-60's and we put 2 shelving units together in about 15 minutes. We paid a little more than the plastic shelving but I expect this to last longer than we will be around.

Easy to put together had to tweak ears a couple times to get to fit taking shelving out of packaging was time consuming . I put all 4 shelves together myself a little tough but manageable.

The easiest shelving unit I’ve ever assembled. Took 2 people, but only because of its size. The entire unit slid together without the need for a single tool. Love the size and stability of the unit. Great value. Would 100% recommend.

These were perfect I bought 2, they held a lot and surprisingly were very easy to setup no tools required, my husband put up one and showed my 13 yr old and he did the rest. I'm in love with my garage everything is off floor and well organized, we repainted the garage wall and put the epoxy paint on floor to give it a beautiful organized look.

I had help putting this in my truck by a helpful associate as it’s pretty heavy , when I arrived home I opened the box and took out piece by piece and placed on the floor . It was quite easy to put together solo

I already had 6 of the 72 inch Gladiator shelves I got 5 or 6 years ago and they have been great. I was finally able to free up enough room in my storage building for one more and this 5 foot unit was the perfect size. I read all the reviews about the wire shelving being flimsier now and they are spot on about that. I considered buying something different like a pallete rack which I knew would be heavy. But the cost of those was 2 or 3 times this. So I gave this a try. And it is fine for my needs. I did not notice it was 16 inches instrad of 2 feet deep like my old ones but that did not really cause me any issues. If anything it aided because where I put it space was tight and this meant that the bins on it rest on the cross pieces and not the wire shelving. I"m satisfied with it for my use but I'm dinging it one star for the reduction in quality. I would gladly have paid a bit more to keep the quality where it had been. Obviously HD did not feel everyone would feel that way. I think they may be wrong. There is an increasing dearth of quality in consumer goods and it is not because the consumers want it that way or unwilling to pay for it.

I needed a whole wall of 18” deep for the garage. I first bought the ‘muscle rack’ which was under-built and unsafe. I bought two of these 48” gladiator and was able to build a three wide rack using a 3-2-3 configuration. Happy. Add on mats are flimsy.

Great value and quality product. It was easy to assemble and had good instructions. Well packaged without damage when I picked it up. Very heavy and sturdy. No complaints...I'll buy more for the shed.

After not being able to park our car in our garage we decided to get organized. We bought 2 of these units and put them against the back wall. It was a fairly easy assembly with 2 people. They are strong and definitely do the joy!

You might debate if you want to spend this much money on a shelf. Definitely worth the money. Easy fo one person install. Two is even better. I’ll buy another next year. There’s a couple of different lengths. So I suggest one type of shelving unit. I have three types three depths three lengths three heights. This unit will change all that.

I was looking for a racking system that would fit into a basement area and would be big enough to consolidate several different types of containers - so looking for adjustable height and width. We had different container sizes for Christmas, Halloween, and Thanksgiving decorations (indoor and outdoor) and I saw a review where two racks were installed back-to-back and I decided to do the same thing. I was surprised how easy the racks were to assemble. I did the assembly alone and can see where having a helper would be beneficial. I figured some of the edges would be dented or scratched during shipping, but none were. I do suggest breaking the boxes down into the individual components so you can move the racks in pieces. Otherwise, you would need at least two people to move the boxes to different areas of the house. Very happy with the purchase...great value, looks good, and adjustable shelf height, width (through purchase), and depth (back to back install).

Love my new shelving!! Was easy to put together, and I’m proud of the way my garage looks now.. I should have bought some years ago..

I bought the 90 x 90 x 24 model Nov 2020 and it is terrific. Required a rubber mallet to help really secure the shelves to the frame and I had to use a file on only one shelf support opening to widen it just a bit to get the shelf to attach. But once together (I did it by myself), it looks great and is very sturdy. Took about 1 hour to assemble and I found a 6' step ladder was needed to do the top two shelves. It was shipped to me VERY quickly after placing the online order despite the apparent shortage of the product. Guess I got lucky to find one. Easily supports everything I've stored on it and my garage is very nicely organized now. I did find it helpful to put some wooden shelves on the wire racks for stuff that had wheels or would otherwise wobble about. Probably would have been fine without the wooden shelves but I had them lying around so why not put them to good use. Good stuff!

I combined two of these, one in front of the other, to create heavy-duty 48"-deep shelving (see photos). Each unit was super easy to assemble. 8 common 5/16" x 1" bolts, with 5 washers apiece, tied the two units together beautifully. The 90"-wide shelves fit in my FutureSteel building with a 12'-wide door as if made for the purpose. I replaced the wire shelves with 5/8" thick particleboard, also from Home Depot. (9/16" would be the perfect thickness, but was not an option.) Couldn't be happier with the end result.

These shelves were so easy to put together! Had them put up a few weeks now and my garage is so much cleaner now, I didn’t realize I had this much space lol. Both sets I bought were packaged very well and they had no damage or missing pieces. I did need help putting together but my 6 and 8 year old boys were plenty capable of holding pieces up so I could fasten them together. These shelves are so sturdy and hold so much more than I even expected them to. The finish on them is very smooth too, you won’t cut your hands on thin sharp or rough edges. Pics of my boys even helping. I’m glad I spent a little extra on the better built shelves. They were very heavy and took 2 strong adults to lift the boxes to move them, I had a good dolly that made it a lot easier.
