Extension helped me on the ladder to get that extra reach so I didn't have to get up and down as much. Helped a whole lot, I'm 62 with disabilities.

The 30 in tip extension is a godsend, especially when paired with a 180 swivel when painting on a ladder. Far less ladder movement and when combined with other extensions (max 6 feet total) it can make high peaks reachable without needing a larger ladder. Overall a good investment. Keep in mind this needs a slight turn with a wrench to ensure proper fitment. Think 1/16 th to 1/8th a turn. Nothing crazy.

When painting ceiling you waste less paint with this extension. Ergonomically way better.
