Great outdoor screws, they drive and hold easily and have a lifetime guarantee. Shear strength appears to be good. I used them to assemble new window wells for my house. There are 67 per package. They are made of steel and have a durable coating. These screws can self-drill but will not contersink into composite decking with a mushroom. I used them to make window well boxes. I predrill into composite decking with a 1/8" bit and they take a T20 star bit of which the package provides one. They are primarily made for wood and are great for decking. These screws are made in Taiwan.

I discovered Torx (star-ish head) screws a while ago. These I bought to replace some Philips head screws during a trellis rebuild. The Torx head is far easier to tightly grab and hold with a power drill/screwdriver. I've used these "gold" exterior screws on several projects, including replacing fencing and other outdoor projects. They hold well and do not corrode. Again, the Torx heads save time because they fit tightly right off the bat and don't let the screwdriver bit slip.

They are screws, I used an appropriate star drive and with the drill in forward they went into the wood as designed.

The screws were great. They bit into the wood easily and effectively. I appreciate that they came with a T25 bit which made use easy as I dropped one of my bits mid project and couldn’t recover it!

We used these to assemble some 2x4s into welded brackets to make an outdoor wood rack. Online reviews said to toss the screws included and upgrade ... so we bought and used these. Was pleased to find outdoor screws this short ... they can be a little hard to find. Zero screws stripped (and we did no predrilling) and was happy the driver was included.
