Great outdoor screws for decking and wood projects. They dont have the shear strength for structural components of a deck but this size is great for putting down deck boards. I also use them on other projects such as a lighthouse recently. They handle weather and moisture very well.

Got these for rebuilding a 55' section of fence lost in a wind storm, for attaching the pickets. They've been working pretty well, although they don't seem as sharp as the name implies: The are sometimes difficult to get started and try to go in slanted. I also wish the head was either slightly wider or maybe have a better profile, as they tend to bury themselves frequently no matter how I set my battery-powered driver clutch. I have had some success with a drywall screw gun, but working with a long extension cord is not optimal, and not possible when the grass is wet with dew or after a rain. Still, for the price, recommended (and it's only a utility keep-the-dogs-in fence), and I plan to use any left for repairing the rest of the fence, although next time I think I'll look for self-drilling hex/square drive screws.
