Product lived up to expatations. Very satisfied

I made a stand/lift so I could remove the hardtop on my Jeep. I saw a video on YouTube that had plans and directions to build a stand using 2"x4"s, a 4" x 8' and some 2" stakes. Everything needed to be secured with 3" screws. I got these because they were the least expensive (I don't usually build much) and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on hardware I wouldn't use again. I also wanted simple Philips heads instead of square or star heads which would have meant getting a bit specifically for that screw. This box of 100 screws only had one that was defective (the top of the screw was solid, no screwdriver cut out), so that's pretty good for a lower priced screw. It had fair bite, but I had to drill pilot holes since the tips weren't aggressive enough to drill through a 2"x4" easily. But, for a low priced, budget screw for occasional projects, these work just fine.

I needed these for a home project. Generally, I like the screws, but I don't care too much for the phillips head. I prefer the square or star heads better when using a drill to drive the screws into the wood, but these work OK. I do find on some occasions I need to work the screw in and out (even with a pilot hole) before the screw finally is in. Not so much with the star or square head screws.
